I booked this ABnB due to to positive feedback in the Reviews. Well we were not disappointed as Adrian and Bernard were terrific hosts in their well placed home. We could have listened to their stories about Zambia and Botswana for hours. Both are very knowledgeable about the area and walks, sites to visit and places to eat at. We will definitely be back.

Whenever we are in the Plettenberg area we stay at this superb guesthouse.It is located near the famous Robberg peninsular,and is convenient to the town centre.We both play golf and the highly rated Plettenberg course is just a few minutes away. The town has much to offer in the way restaurants and the owners of Bayside Adrienne and Bernie will arrange and book on your behalf.The guesthouse is very homely,provides excellent accommodation,wonderful breakfast,and is supported by friendly and efficient staff.We simply love it Well worth a visit.

The pillows and beds were amazing. Had a good night sleep on the first and the rest of our stay. You feel welcome immediately. Adrienne even gave us excellent choices of restaurants and other adventures to explore as a family. Breakfasts were great.

We stayed in the Bayside Lodge from the 31st January until the 3rd February. It is very well located with some beautiful sights nearby. There was a great selection of local restaurants The accommodation was very good and the breakfasts were excellent. Bernie and Adrienne were superb hosts. .

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bayside Lodge in Plettenberg Bay. The location is perfect - just a short walk from the famous Robberg beach. There are also great restaurants and charming local shops nearby. The guest house itself is comfy, very well-maintained, has solar power, a yummy breakfast and offers excellent value for money. The rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts, Adrienne and Bernie, and their “nothing is too much trouble” support staff are incredibly welcoming. Adrienne is always ready with great recommendations for things to see and do in the area. I can’t wait to hike the magnificent Robberg peninsula again soon and I’ll be sure to stay at Bayside Lodge too.

We stayed for four nights with Adrienne in the Bayside Lodge. She offered communication for a super relaxed and carefree check-in ahead of our stay. We were welcomed very warmly by her and her team and it felt like home from the beginning. The property is located in a residential area, which is still not to far from the center of Plettenberg. You can either take your car or a taxi/uber to be in the center in no time (or walk along the beach in approx. 40min). Additionally, it is located a 5min walk from one of the beaches and also close to Robberg nature reserve. The garden of Adrienne's house is very beautiful and the rooms are spacious. It is not a modern luxury hotel, but it makes more than up for that by making you comfortable and feel welcome. The breakfast has everything you need and is served with a smile or a joke on the lips. Adrienne is very knowledgeable about activities and restaurants in the area of Plattenberg and is very glad to share her knowledge with you. To sum up, this was the perfect accommodation for our stay and we would gladly visit Bayside Lodge without a second thought again!

We had the absolute best time at Bayside lodge in Plett. Adrienne and Bernie are the best hosts and helped us so much with activities, suggestions and sharing all their home comforts so we had the most amazing time. We loved the peace and quiet and the fact that we could hear the waves from our bed! We ended up booking a last minute multi day hike at the end of our stay and they let us use all their hiking equipment as we didn't have! Thank you for everything - we will be back!
