This is our 2nd visit here,the accomodation is not luxurious but it is impeccably clean with a separate seating area and bedroom.Room has a fridge ,kettle with tea and coffee provided.You are left a large bottle of water at the start of your stay and you refill it subsequently at the water machines at the snack bar as required.Food,well we didn't care much for the breakfast but that's a personal thing as we normally just have toast and coffee at home ,first ople of days we tried a cooked breakfast but reverted back to toast and coffee thereafter,sneaking an odd churro to enjoy afterwards.Lunch and dinner,I can honestly say that the food at this hotel is amongst the best we gave ever head at an inclusive hotel,there was not the massive array of same dishes that you get at most hotels but a smaller selection of good quality dishes cooked well.Everthing from steaks through fish ,poultry,pasta to salads and veg dishes.If you come here and you like beef,watch for the medium rare roast beef on the salad counter,it was beautiful.Drinks were the usual local varieties with the beer being Amstel,which suited me because I like the lighter malty beers.Branded drinks were on offer,we paid €4 for 4 bottles of Heineken to take back to our room one evening,I also got a J and B whisky one night which was €3 for a very generous serving.Probably the biggest strength for this hotel is it's staff,you could just see how well they worked as a team,we watched the lifeguard collecting glasses and cleaning the coffee machine,the bar man helping out clearing restaurant plates away you could just tell they were working as a team.I don't know if it was good management or the caliber of people working there but I think it was probably a combination of both.Oh and if you have a late flight don't worry about food,we arrived after the restaurant was closed and we were directed to a beautiful cold buffet the chef had made for late arrivals.Beauiful walks to the left and right along the sea front with numerous restaurants and bars along the way,supermarket 10 mins walk,turn left at the seafront.This is a quiet resort and not suitable if you want a lively holiday,but if you want peace,quiet and tranquility this is for you.

This was our 5th stay here, and our first since covid, so the last time was in 2019. It was lovely to see so many of the same wonderful staff who have been here for many years and some new, equally wonderful staff. Too many to name but a few deserve special mention. Inaki, Diego, Victor, Irene. The bungalows have everything you need for a comfortable stay and are cleaned every day to a very high standard. The food is excellent with a lot of choice and variety each day. The new addition of self service prosecco/cava was a lovely touch. The location is great for promenade walks in either direction and if you're lucky enough to have a sea view bungalow (we were!), that's a real bonus. Other holidaymakers were nice and friendly and the whole place has a relaxed laid back atmosphere which is exactly what we want. Entertainment was hit and miss. During our 7 nights there was only 1 great act - a female South African singer who was brilliant, but there's something on most evenings and the barmen work very hard keeping everyone topped up with their favourite tipple. Thank you all for another lovely holiday and we will be booking to see you all again next April.

What a lovely hotel! People say it is run down, but actually, it has a lot of Playa Blanco charm. The gardens are well tended to, with good paths. The room is always well tended to, and has a good fridge for cold drinks. The team are all very warm and friendly. The food is good quality, always something to choose, and the Sangria and Prosecco flow freely. Talking of food, we were most impressed with their Eco Garden, growing their own herbs. On the food front, the profiteroles appeared to be very popular, and we NEVER got to try them as they were always short lived, never enough of them. lol! The pool area is very clean and the attendant is on the ball, very friendly. Coast path is just outside the complex, which is about half an hour to the marina, but if you do not wish to walk, a taxi can be requested at reception and arrives with five mins. This is 5 euros to shops and bars. Big shout out to Irene, Viktor, Andres, Hugo, Diego and Francisco. These guys are lovely and nothing is ever too much trouble. Will definitely visit again as do many of the people we met whilst there. Thank you.

Another visit to my favourite winter destination. As always it was lovely! It's a shame that costi the entertainment guy has left but what a wonderful replacement you have in Borja! He is so friendly and we had a great laugh doing the activities. And great to see Hugo back in the restaurant. All the staff are great and the 6 of us had a great time as usual ! See you next Feb !

Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the resort. We had a bungalow with a side sea view not far from reception, pools and sea front in the other direction. Very well situated. The bungalow although a little tired was quite spacious and always kept clean. Fridge and kettle in sitting/ lounge area aswell as TV with English channels available. Safe deposit box in room was payable at 18 euros for the week. We liked how quiet it was if you just wanted to sit on your terrace outside room and relax. It would have been nice to have a sunlounger on the terrace as Don't always want to sit at poolside. The food was good and restaurant not too big. We were half board but it is also an all inclusive hotel. Waiters very helpful and Vincent was particularly cheerful and hard working. Location.. about 30 minute walk along a pleasant promenade onto marina and into town where there are some lovely restaurants . A taxi was about 4 euros through the day but went up a little at night. There are a couple of supermarkets and restaurants about 10 minutes walk along promenade to the left. Thankyou to the kind staff for looking after us for the week.

Sandos Atlantic is a warm and friendly hotel. The staff are very welcoming and happy to greet you. The food is plentiful and well cooked , not the choice that there maybe in bigger hotels but it’s always freshly cooked. The accommodation is in white chalets which are immaculately clean though a bit tired in places . They have a nice veranda area and enclosed yard ideal for drying clothes. The night time entertainment over the two weeks was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable. In such a small hotel it was easy to chat to other guests and make friendships! A guy from the animation team put on a walk up Red Mountain which is behind the hotel at no extra cost and was very informative and knowledgeable about the history of the Island . Hotel quiet and peaceful just as we like it ! So if you want music by the pool, noisy outdoor activities - this is not the hotel for you! We loved our two weeks and will definitely go back .

This is a 3 star hotel so don't expect many facilities but do expect a lovely peaceful place with excellent & friendly staff but without bells & whistles. Special mention for Victor who works tirelessly to make sure you have everything you need with a permanent smile on his face. Accommodation is tired but adequate and I like the layout of bungalows with your own private patio and a courtyard out the back for drying clothes. Negative was no wi-fi in bungalow. This hotel is ideal for anyone with mobility issues as everything is on the same level and easily accessible and close to each other. 2 pools and a jacuzzi were lovely. Food adequate and always hot and fresh. Only negative was that I would like to have had a better choice of freshly cut fruit. Entertainment was ok and whilst not great, certainly got the crowd dancing which created a good atmosphere. Not enough seating in the bar for everyone so had to go back to our room when it rained. If you order a taxi be prepared to wait as we waited 45 minutes which would have been an issue if it had been for the airport. Nice walk to Flamingo beach and bars. Boules and mini-golf on site however I don't think the mini golf has been used for a while as needs a refurb. The gym isn't great either. They could do with a little shop just to sell water, sun cream etc as no water could be purchased anywhere on site. In summary, if you want a relaxing week away with no music blaring, no-one hassling you to join in with activities (as there are very few) with friendly staff then totally recommend. We shall certainly be returning. Many people we spoke to had been returning year after year which speaks volumes.

Beautiful setting, looking out over the bay. Lovely comfortable room. Food was good and staff friendly, particularly in the breakfast restaurant and My Favourite restaurants. Lovely comfortable furniture in the sunbathing area. Thanks.

This was our third visit this year, the atmosphere here is always relaxing, the staff are very helpful and always cheerful, (happy staff make happy holidays). The food is great but being vegetarian the choices for lunch or dinner seems to be stuck on repeat, the show cooking seems only to cater for meat and fish eaters, would be good if they occasionally did a stir-fry or veggie paella. The night time entertainment on the whole can be fun, during our latest stay there did not seem to be any daytime entertainment, our previous stay in March there were daily exercises in the pool, sometimes darts in the bar area, mini golf, we even learned a little Spanish. We had a late flight home on our last visit, we still vacated our room at 11.00, but was allowed use of the facilities (retaining our wristbands) and the use of the shower facilities in the gym/sauna.

We just finished a lovely stay at Sandos Atlantic Gardens. Bungalow was great: clean, spacious and basic. Courtyard with a large dryer which was great. We enjoyed dinging our own doorbell with every coming and going. Food was great, especially the churros at breakfast. Food was always hot, fresh and delicious. Drinks were great - especially honey rum and lemonade and the sangria. All inclusive drinks finish at 11pm - after this you’ll have to pay. Staff were brilliant and so friendly. Really hard working and very accommodating. Special shout out to Andreas (my fiends husband lookalike), Mikel, Diego, Victor and mr lifeguard . Pools were lovely but quite cold. We never got up early for a sunbed, still plenty of availability at lunchtime. No inflatables allowed. We only stayed for 3 night but did a couple little trips out which was nice. Climbed the volcano behind the hotel. We rented the BIRD e-scooters to get around which was great. We visited the lighthouse. Flamingo beach (10min walk) was lovely. Good mixture of ages and very relaxed atmosphere. Many thanks to the team!

Spent a 4 night easter break here with my wife, it's a really nice reasonably priced hotel overlooking the sea, rooms are mainly private bungalows. It's a bit dated and not luxurious but we had a great short break here. There are two nice pools , one which is freezing ,the other is heated

I am gluten free and the restaurant were absolutely amazing with catering around this allowing me to order my meals the day before and catering to me. I had meals such as pizza and pasta and even deserts such as brownies. All staff were friendly and ready to help out. Would definitely recommend. Lovely quiet hotel with many areas for relaxing. Beautiful sea view, maids came every day and were all very hardworking. Loved my stay here

Stayed for a week (18th to 25th) with a couple of girlfriends - and celebrating a birthday. I'd previously requested (via email) a bungalow in a preferred area and for the staff to decorate for birthday (at an additional, and very fair cost). Both requests were done, and we were very happy to get cake and fizz waiting in bungalow 317 upon arrival. This was my sixth time visiting Atlantic Gardens (usually as a couple) and again, it did not disappoint. The staff are fabulous - especially Mikel, Fransisco, Victor and Diego, Elena who checked us in quickly and efficiently and the Housekeeping staff. They all work so hard ensuring everything is always great and they're always friendly. Same goes for all other staff ensuring the grounds look gorgeous and the pool is clean. There's plenty of choice of food at all times, including snacks like burgers and chips in between buffet restaurant opening times. A great selection of drinks available too. The hotel is situated right beside the promenade, which means you can easily walk to nearby areas - turn right out of the hotel and you'll reach the old lighthouse. Turn left and you'll head towards Flamingo beach, Town, Dorada beach then the Marina. We love the walks, but if walking's not for you, it's easy to get a taxi via reception too. Our week ended too soon, once again!! I look forward to returning once again.

Many trips to Lanzarote and Playa Blanca. This time just the two of us so grabbed a late deal at the Adults Only Sandos Atlantic Gardens. All we wanted to do was relax in the Canarian Sunshine after enduring the wettest winter I can remember. The team here are incredibly friendly and helpful. Elena, Irene and Roberto on reception are a fountain of knowledge. The Jet2 rep recommended the Volcano and Dinner trip which was fantastic, he didn’t care that we booked through EasyJet Holidays. Food was way above expectation even though we ate out for 2 out of our 5 nights, a good choice with a fantastic team serving drinks and clearing tables. We met lots of lovely people who have been here many times, I can see the attraction. Thanks Sandos Atlantic for a lovely 5 days
