U Sabai Living Hotel

Probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. We asked for a quiet room when we booked but when we got there the Manager a rather aggressive East European man just laughed at as and said " book a more expensive hotel next time"! The Hotel is on a main road and very noisy, the shower floods the room as there's no shower tray, every evening the manager has a group of men who fill up the bar in the entrance and are rather drunk & threatening , not a safe place for single women travelers! The breakfast took half an hour to serve so be warned. Their laundry service lost my socks. Now as for the payment, we couldn't pay with our credit card on Booking which we found strange, when we got there they insisted on paying cash! As for the best or (worst) part was the main street to the beach, *******s and dodgy massage parlors and tattoo parlors trying to pull in the punters, we'll not be going back that's for sure, It's noisy rooms, and disgustingly dirty street in a rather dangerous area, never again!

The photos aren't real, our room was nothing like the nice photos, however it was really cheap and a great location. Perfect for a one night stay. I don't understand why they insisted on a 1K security deposit as they had my cards. I was forced to do a 15 minute walk to an ATM in the rain for nothing.

Please avoid this hotel, the room smells of sewage which comes from the bathroom. The receptionist tricked me into paying for an additional night even though I had paid for it already on ***********. When I realised I confronted her and the owner and asked for a refund.The owner/manager who is European is very rude. He refused to give me a refund and laughed when I said I would mention this in a review. You can get much better hotels for the prices they charge

Perfect place! Comfy beds! Free beach towels. Rooms very clean with balconies and hot water, kind staff and helpful owner. He can show you around some places worth visiting. Very convenient location - 1 min to bars, 1 min to 7/11, 1 min to 24/7 restaurant with thai food, 1 min to massage shops and currency exchange. 10 min walk to Bangla road and 15 min walk to the beach. I spent there almost 1 month and can fully recommend.
