The room is great. But…
We tried different massages—they were all the same and didn’t differ in any way. (And please, turn off the AC during treatments.)
The restaurant—terrible.
The head chef, Maxim, is clearly tired of his job and doesn’t care about the guests at all.
The food was bad. How can you fail to make a proper Tom Yum in Thailand?!
On top of that, his lack of professionalism in interacting with us stood out—rude, disrespectful, and completely uninterested.
Later, we found out that a man got food poisoning at breakfast and spent seven days in the hospital.
As in any business (especially a five-star one), service is the most important thing. All of this is the failure of the manager, who, for some reason, is focused on check-ins instead of quality control.
The only person worth mentioning positively is the local guy at the entrance (wearing glasses)—always welcoming and very friendly, just like the cleaning staff. The local team is doing a great job!
The management consists of people who have no idea what responsibility, quality, and high standards mean.
