A very cozy hotel. It is located in the Jungle. Professional, friendly staff. The massage is great, I definitely recommend visiting the SPA at this hotel. The area is green and clean. Good food in the restaurant and good breakfasts. The room cleaning is good. Upon check-in, there was a compliment from the hotel. Thanks to the staff for a great my rest. I recommend visiting this hotel

While we initially doubted when we arrived, the stay at this resort has exceeded our expectations. Staff is really friendly and accommodating, great breakfast with fresh baked baguettes and bread, happy hour drinks next to the pool in the afternoon and nice colonial style rooms and environment. Will certainly revisit !

Very popular hotel with high occupancy, as evidenced by the huge crowd almost daily during breakfast hours (6.30 to 10.30 am). Peak hours is around 8 to 9.30 am, near impossible to find vacant seats, even though seating capacity is pretty large in the restaurant. Breakfast spread is substantial and is replenished regularly but the hot dishes (slightly different daily) are not really tasty/delicious. The usual staples are better, eg bread, ham/bacon, eggs, salad and fruits. Coffee is not great, I took a few sips and didn’t want it anymore. Pool is huge and reasonably clean but there are some missing mosaic tiles on parts of the pool wall which should have been better maintained. You can watch fireworks on Saturdays if you stay in a pool-facing room on a high floor. Rooms on the same side as the main entrance face trees and nothing else (fine for people who prefer greenery). The rooms on the other remaining sides either have partial sea-views or partial view of Grandworld/open field. The room itself is very plain looking - adding some decorations (eg hang some paintings/posters or place a couple of attractive cushions) would have enhanced the interior design. Overall, I’m pleased with my hotel choice – strong points: location, cleanliness, facilities and services are very good and it is excellent value if you get a good room rate in your booking.

The Palmy was likely an absolutely stunning property when it was built. Unfortunately the environment and a low maintenance budget have taken its toll. Lots of rusty steel railings are evident.  The restaurant which claims to have both western and local cuisine has what appears to be a Chinese leaning breakfast buffet and the dinner menu is limited to a blade steak dish and Pizza. This was confirmed by another guest that had been there for a week.  The multiple pools looked nice but seemed cloudy.  We splurged and went for the executive suite expecting to have a functional living space. It consisted of a wooden love seat and a coffee table and nothing else. No tv or anything.  The bedroom was the unique room. It was appointed with a nice bed in the centre of the room with a desk behind the headboard, a wall to wall curtains separated the sleeping are from the bathroom area. A glass shower and tub area was in one corner and a glass walled toilet area was in the other.  Beach access was though the restaurant.

the hotel room was big and clean. but other than that...lots of issues. the tv didnt work. the hotel staff at reception didnt give me a rate card nor any papers when i changed money. later i understood they gave me a poorer rate than elsewhere in the island. the breakfast was well below average. location of the hotel is good though. overall...not satisfied with my stay for the price i paid. wont visit again.

Very modern, well maintained hotel, located near the beach ,( 3 min walk),also close to the main street, to the bus stop, plenty of restaurants around Room 610 was clean ,big , with a nice view , bed is very comfortable, and the TV was smart with UTube Breakfast is excellent , with various, delicious food, plenty of fresh fruits daily , restaurant service is well organized and very efficient Reception is very supportive , helpful ,and I speak good English. Housekeeping is daily and high quality! This is my second stay in this hotel,( March 24-26, 2024) I would come again Highly recommend! Mikhail

My family stayed 7 nights at the villa, it was so far so good, except a big surprise when we did checkout today. the front desk lady told me one toilet tissue fabric cover lost, and asked me to sign the paper for the discrepancy. It is a really ridiculous request. I told her she could not do that, and if hotel management requested that, they have to do double thinking. Firstly you did not go through checklist with me when I did check in, secondly how about I tell you I lost my underwear in my room, can you pay me the same? At last, what is the value of a toilet tissue cover? It is non-sense you bring up a challenge like this to customer.

Hotel on arrival feels very clean and grand. It is a little bland and lacks any character. The room is very dated and needs updating. The main issue is thin walls, so noise travels easily. We had to complain about noise from room above and we were woken early by noise from cleaners. Outside the pool and beach are nice, although everyone is close together. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

A bit far from restaurants and shops. The beach is 5-10 minutes walk away. Advantages: Bus 17 stops right in front of the hotel and takes you to Wine World and other places for free. One or two stops to the night market. There is Russian and Central Asian cuisine nearby. Nice pool.
