TTamuIt was our first time staying at the Renaissance Historic Downtown Hotel. As we pulled in, we were Approached by the valet, who was very polite and kind. We walked into the lobby side door in immediately. There was a very pleasant and refreshing smell throughout the hotel. We immediately began to notice the decor which was very unique and impressive. As we approached the front desk to check in, the receptionist who was a young man, was very prompt and polite, and willing to share information about the area. As we went up to our room, we couldn’t help but notice the beautiful decor as well as how clean the environment was. I have been in the commercial cleaning business for over 30 years and pay attention to detail. As we opened our room, we were very impressed once again with how clean the room was and how nice the room was. To sum up this, my wife has put this on her list as her top favorite thus far and we have visited over 12 times. Thank you so much for making my wife’s 58th birthday. We had a wonderful experience

TTamuThe hanging rack for clothes was above the refrigerator and not user friendly for adult clothing, more like small kids clothes. very ridiculous.
I had spilled some water on the floor and wiped it up...the floor was filthy. Not muchWater pressure in the bathroom sink. Shower was good.
Room is nice size. When I called 2 different times about the pool if it was indoor or out, they said indoor...REALLY! It is an outdoor pool, and you can see it from the office window. Hotel is WAY over priced! They did accommodate us and put us on the 1st floor as there are no elevators. Yes we were there from Dec. 20-22 and booked months inadvance. will never go there again.
