TTamuThere is no housekeeping service for the whole duration of stay. So not recommend to stay more than 3 days. Even you requested to replace the towel (free), the hotel may only send you the numbers of towel on your request. No rubbish clearing or taken out the used damp towels.
Breakfast, Fika, Dinner are included.
There are wide variety of food provided in the breakfast e.g. fruits, toast, croissant, danish pastries, pancake, egg, cheese, ham, salad, sausages, different kinds of juices, flavored water with fresh lemon & strawberries / melon...
However, forget about the fika. There was only a piece of plain cake in the size of 2”x1”x1”. You can take 1 or 2 pieces of berries with you.
The selection of Dinner is limited. There was only 1 main course (3 nights were served with chicken but in different cooking method). Salad and some basic bread was provided. But the soup were all delicious which change everyday. Even not with so much items as breakfast, all of them were good.

TTamuThe location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the central train station and within walking distance to all the city's popular attractions. The room layout is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide range of dining options. The service and staff at the hotel are very friendly and welcoming! We especially enjoyed the hotel's restaurant, which was open until 10pm, allowing us to enjoy dinner at the end of a day of sightseeing, and the food was delicious. We ate in the restaurant three times during our three night stay at the hotel, as the food was really excellent and the very professional staff there, Carina, was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you Carina!

OOrMaryStafnya sangat ramah dan menyenangkan! Pelayan di restoran juga ramah. Kamarnya kecil dan nyaman. Pasti akan kembali lagi! Area kesehatan agak mahal sebagai tambahan, tetapi sangat bagus dan menenangkan saat sepi! Saya hanya berharap ada staf di sana untuk mengatur kebisingan dan kelompok karena saya ingin pergi pada malam terakhir saya, tetapi sangat ramai dengan kelompok-kelompok yang berisik dan mengintimidasi. Lokasinya cukup bagus, di luar pusat kota tetapi sangat mudah diakses dengan trem.

AAzmann BScandic Simonkenttä Hotel is a very good choice for staying in Helsinki, especially for travelers who want a convenient and central location. The hotel is within walking distance from the main railway station, making it easy to get around the city, and it is located right in the city center, close to shopping areas and attractions.
The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, with a positive attitude and genuine smiles, which makes the stay more pleasant.
Breakfast is varied and interesting, with a good selection of food to start the day. However, it closes a bit early — breakfast ends at 10:00 AM, which may feel slightly rushed for guests who prefer a more relaxed morning.
The room is comfortable and warm, which is especially important during cold weather. Bathroom amenities are mostly complete, but toothbrushes and razors are not provided, which would be a nice addition for a hotel at this level. Aside from that, other amenities are well-prepared and sufficient.
Overall, Scandic Simonkenttä offers a comfortable stay, excellent location, and good service. With a few small improvements, especially regarding bathroom amenities and breakfast hours, it would be an even better experience.

TTamuThe hostel is perfect for travelers in search of a fair accommodation at the heart of helsinki city centre. It’s quite strange though that receptionists and hostel staff are almost never present and the only appearances were the one of the cleaning maid. The result is that guests don’t really communicate or interact no matter the huge living room and sofas and the fact that they all have to share the kitchen amenities. What happens is that the level of tidiness and accountability for the usage of mugs, plates, cutlery depends on your luck and the guests who check in each and every day. By the last day we had partygoers stopping only for a night out and cans of pepsi and a bottle of vodka were left on the common table (not sure if it was a shy invite to indulge) while the sink and the dishwasher were crammed with badly rinsed stuff. It’s a pity cause the common showers, the toilets and the rooms were fairly clean, we simply expected the typical hostel experience where you manage to socialize a bit more thanks to the staff.

TTamuGood value art deco hotel for a three night stay. Exceptional breakfast. Not very helpful pre advice about location. So…
If you are coming from Helsinki port (eg ferry from Tallinn), get the tram 7T to Kaisaniemenpuisto. Then a short walk to the hotel. Tap and pay at the ticket machine for €3.20 one way, zone AB.
From Helsinki airport, get the train to Helsinki main train station, 33 mins, tap and go, zone ABC. To get there walk down the road for 7 to 10 mins; contemplate some cobbled streets when wheeling luggage, but not an issue.
NB Helsinki Kampii is the main BUS/COACH terminal that you may use to go to Porvoo for a wonderful daytrip; a bit more of a walk from the Arthur Hotel ( use Google maps). Not to be confused with the Art Deco train station. All are walkable.
Finally, a visit to Suomenlinna (zone AB tap & go) is recommended along with Senate Square/the Cathedral & the Russian Cathedral.
Great restaurant for Finnish food and beer under €7 is Ravintola Kolme Kruunua. Lovely shops at the harbour stalls & Craft Corner. Take a walk down the Esplanade.

VVinharound Travel Outlook⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Stay at Scandic Paasi – Clean, Stylish, and Comfortable
Our group of friends from Vietnam had a very pleasant stay at Scandic Paasi during our recent trip to Helsinki. Overall, the hotel was beautiful, clean, and offered very good quality for the price.
The rooms were modern, well-designed, and spotless. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, and everything felt neat and thoughtfully arranged. After long days exploring the city, it was a great place to rest and recharge.
We also loved the hotel’s unique design and cozy atmosphere—it felt modern but still warm and welcoming. The common areas were spacious and nicely decorated, perfect for relaxing or chatting together as a group.
The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and key attractions in Helsinki. Breakfast was another highlight: good variety, fresh ingredients, and a nice Scandinavian touch that our group really enjoyed.
Overall, Scandic Paasi delivered exactly what we were looking for: a clean, comfortable, and high-quality hotel experience. We would definitely recommend it to friends and would happily stay here again on our next visit to Helsinki.

LLUDOGORIANAlle Bereiche außer meinem eigenen Zimmer wurden gemeinsam genutzt. Und es war sehr sauber. Gemeinschaftsküche, Gemeinschaftsbad, das Zimmer, in dem ich wohnte. Die fehlende Rezeption führte zu einer ständigen Anhäufung der Dichte. Ohne die Hilfe der russischsprachigen Frau, deren Geduld ich bewunderte, hätte ich diese Punkte nicht einmal vergeben.
