TTamuThis is an absolutely beautiful boutique hotel with superlative service. If you like the typical hotel designs with false ceiling, random spot lights, brass hardware and short pile carpet, this is not for you. But if you appreciate quiet, subtle, tasteful and considered design, you won’t be disappointed. Every corner you turn, you will find a lovely piece of furniture, art piece or pleasant view of the outside. The room we had was spacious, relaxing and comes with a balcony. We didn’t even notice there was no tv until now.
The building is flanked by a small tea field on one side and bamboo and trees on the other. The tea house is a serene spot for reading or sampling local teas.
Service from the complimentary pick up (or drop off) car service to restaurant wait staff is top quality. Breakfast is Chinese style but very tasty with many local specialties. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant (where breakfast is also served) and it was fantastic.
There is an onsite shop and a gallery with coveted offerings.
Would love to return and spend more time here to detox.

TTamuI had a really good stay at Yaochang Hotel. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and the overall environment is comfortable.
What stood out the most was the service — the staff were very friendly and attentive. They even personally brought me to the lift and took the time to explain everything about the stay, which made me feel very welcomed.
The location is convenient, and there is also a shuttle service (接驳车) that brings guests to the tourist centre (游客中心), which made getting around very easy and hassle-free.
The price is slightly on the higher side, but it is reasonable as it includes the entrance tickets, which adds value to the overall experience.
Facilities are simple but everything works well and is sufficient for a comfortable stay. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again.

SSG ATHave been using this hotel many times already. This time round the room were newly refurbished and its very nice and pleasant. Room size and toilet is larger than before. The mattress were great, the firmness is just right and comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast spread very generous with local and international dishes to choose. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location of hotel is just a short walk to the old city and very convenient for just anything and everything. You can find plenty of food and eatery shops in the old city.

PPengguna AnonimI highly recommend this hotel. All staff members were very polite and helpful. My room was very comfortable and very clean. The location is very peaceful. I enjoyed the views of the nearby mountains from my room (318). I enjoyed exercising in the gym. I was very thankful for the excellent laundry room, equipped with Samsung washing machines and Samsung tumble dryers. I was very thankful for the excellent air conditioning system. The whole experience was excellent. Thanks to all the managers and staff members.

TTamuMy room at Manyue Hotel was very clean. The window opens slightly, so there was fresh air, and the room was bright and comfortable. There is a good blackout curtain, so it is pretty dark at night--great! The bed was comfortable, and has different types of pillows to choose from according to your own preference. The shower area is ”private” and separate from the toilet area--they are surrounded by frosted glass, so you cannot see another person--good when staying with a friend! Manyue provided slippers, robe, clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and antibacterial hand soap, plus toothbrush kit, comb, and body lotion--very, very impressive for the price of this hotel! It's a good bargain.
There are a few places to eat nearby, but DON'T go to the restaurant across the street in the 1916 shopping center ! (It was recommended by the guy at the front desk.) That restaurant has terrible service--horrible service! The Korean-style bbq nearby was much better, and cheaper too. There is also a nice park about 1.5 blocks away--I walked there easily.
I noted that several Chinese guests did NOT pay a 200kuai deposit at the hotel. However, perhaps because I am a foreigner, I DID have to pay the deposit. However, it was refunded immediately upon my checkout--no problem. Very good.
Manyue Hotel is an excellent choice for a budget-minded traveler. It is a very good value for the price.
