I really enjoyed my stay at Huílái Homestay in Shadian. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the shower was just as big, which made it extra nice. The building looks newly renovated, so everything felt fresh and clean. The location is great too, it’s less than a 5-minute walk to shops and restaurants, and it’s right across from the Great Mosque of Shadian. What made the stay even better was the hostess, she was very friendly and accommodating, and always made me feel welcome. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Shadian.

As a solo traveller and foreigner, staying at Limu turned out to be the best decision. The place has an incredibly beautiful and modern aesthetic and rooms are on par with some high-end luxury hotels. But that's not why you should stay here, it's the hosts. I was immediately welcomed by the whole family with a warmth and openness that made me feel like I was part of a family. Kindness always finds a way beyond language barriers. They offered me invaluable tips of what to do and see, offered me tea, fruits and snacks and prepared an incredibly delicious traditional Xiào Guó Mi Xian 小锅米线 noodle soup for breakfast. These kind people of Shadian will forever stay in my memory.

Overall hotel and hotel owner is fine. However in the night no WiFi have in room. In morning elevator not working. You can see grand mosque 🕌 of shadian from room window 🪟. However, they remove green tombs Arabic structure which was the identity of grand mosque 🕌 and now they renovating into Chinese architecture. Renovation will complete in July 2024. So, it’s worthless to visit shadian town before July 2024. There are few new mosque 🕌 around town. Overall , Shadian is very peaceful town with friendly people.

It is nice hotel for a very reasonable price. The check in took a while because the owner is not used to foreign guests but it all worked out. The room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. I missed some hand soap in the bathroom. The only real complaint is that it was pretty loud at night, there are bars under the hotel and I could hear the music and people talking throughout the night. If you're there during the weekday it should be ok.
