Chateau Apres Lodge

Our room did not have any heat. When we complained they gave us a tiny electric heater which only helped slightly with the outside temperatures in the 20's and only single pane windows.

Great hotel, I really enjoyed my stay here. Clean and quiet room, comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location, 5-10min. Walk to the ski and shopping area. Little extras I enjoyed: central fireplace is cosy, breakfast area is nice

Very basic lodge and well located ( 10 minutes walking from Payday lift and 10-15 minutes from downtown Park City where lot of restaurants and bar). Staff is friendly and a simple but good breakfast is served in the morning. Rooms and bathrooms are VERY basic: beds are quite uncomfortable (especially if you are 6'4), and heating is almost non-existent (extra blankets and small space heaters available at the reception). Fortunately, plenty of hot water at every time of the day. Our room had a double bed and a twin, with a sofa in the middle. We wished they had room with 2 queens which would have been more comfortable for 2 guys.There is a nice fireplace in the lobby which make it a nice place to relax after skiing (but bring your own snacks and drinks). A very convenient feature is the possibility to use the bathroom of the dorm to shower and change on the last day after skiing (check-0out is 10 am)

The property was chosen as it was a block from our other condo we booked for the five days in Park City. Unfortunately our other booking fell through and the convenience was lost. We could not use it and could not get a refund, so we checked in to see the room. They need to upgrade the door locks. We had to ask the neighbor how to lock the door (pull and twist the handle from the inside). Time for the deadbolt and electronic locks to be put in. The decor was very dated both in the lobby and the rooms. The appeal is its location. Upgrades would be nice for the future. This was booked through ******* who would not offer any refund for a hotel room that had been booked way in advance of our travel dates. We will look for a booking that allows cancellation in the future as this lack of flexibility six months in advance is not acceptable. This was a busy weekend due to the large amount of snow that just fell, this would have been easy to rent to others. Hopefully they will add more flexibility in the future.

My fiancé & I booked this place pretty last minute for a trip to park city to ski for new years weekend - this place is EASILY 5/5. We had an incredible time. This isn’t a high end resort and the rooms are much older but worked for a ski trip. Super clean and the beds actually comfy. but it was so perfect. Reminded me of old ski lodges I stayed in as a kid in Wisconsin. The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was perfect before skiing and LOCATION. It was literally a 4 minute walk to the base. The common room was also so comfy and we met a lot of new people. We will stay here anytime we come to Park City to ski. It made our trip absolutely incredible. 10/10 - just book it.

Manage your expectations and you will be fine. This is a 2 star place that hasn't changed since 1975. The staff is friendly. The rooms, and gold shag carpet are acceptably clean. Its a 8 minute walk to the Payday ski lift. Having said that, the walk is mostly uphill with multiple sets of steps. Not easy at all to do in ski boots. Its best to pay to store your boots and helmets at the base. Carry just skis/poles back and forth. Use the free bus to go to the Fresh grocery store. Breakfast is minimal.

If you not looking to get comfortable room, just for place to crush after skiing day - it is place to go.

This is an old fashioned, basic ski lodge. Reminded me of childhood ski trips! Dont expect luxury or frills. However, the room was clean, the bed comfortable. The tiny bathroom was completely adequate. Breakfast is also basic: coffee, oatmeal packets, toast and peanut butter and jelly, cold cereal and milk, and store type muffins. Considering the price of food in Park City, this saved us a bundle. The great news: perfect location- 4 minute walk to ski lifts. Easy 14 min walk in to Old Town. Very helpful staff- I asked for a hairdryer and was handed one immediately (with a smile). We loved our stay.
