Hotel Diana Paris

I was there for a business trip. The room is a bit small but clean and convenient. The staff is friendly. The location is great too. The sixth floor is quiet, even though I was right next to the elevator. There is an elevator. I did not take the breakfast.

I stayed alone for two days in Hotel Diana, perfect location and super clean room, nice breakfast and kind Staff, they were helpful and pleasant and all with good English skills. Location of the hotel was amazing, safe neighbourhood. And it was super easy to get in subways or buses if needed.

The rooms need more soundproofing. There is little road noise. It is the noise from the other rooms. We were on floor 2 and could hear everything from the next room: the other people coughing, snoring and other things. It was excessive. I also wish there was an additional garbage can. There was only a small one in the bathroom. On the last morning that we were there I noticed that the bathroom tap was extremely dirty with toothpaste and the kind that we don’t use. The location was outstanding. Very walkable and close to every thing.

Very clean room, comfortable beds. The room was small but perfectly formed. Decent shower water pressure. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great, lots of shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep and easy walking distance to Notre Dame, Quartier Latin, Pantheon and Luxembourg gardens. Plenty of buses and metro nearby too. Would definitely come back and recommend.

If you’ve never stayed in this conveniently located, sparkling clean, small hotel, you have missed your chance. Mme. Cheval, who has managed Hotel Diana for 52 years, is retiring, and the hotel is being sold within a month. Word is, a conglomerate that is buying up numerous hotels is going to change Hotel Diana’s image and character, and up the price considerably. This is sad for patrons who have returned to the reliably pleasant, affordable lodging year after year. Many thanks and best wishes, Mme. Cheval.

Location is excellent in the heart of the Latin Quarter with Line 10 Metro very close by, good bus connections. Loads of cafes, restaurants, shops, and metro options. I walked from the RER B at Saint- Michel to the hotel in under 10 minutes. I stayed for 6 nights. Near the Luxembourg Gardens, Seine bridges, Pantheon, Cluny museum....and more. My 2nd floor single room was spotless with a comfortable double bed, electric pot, tea/coffee, sm fridge, TV (no English channels), and a hair dryer/soap and shampoo. Although on a busy street, no noise. However, the walls are very thin, and I could clearly hear the neighbors' conversations through all adjoining walls. (I was next to the lift and never heard it) I did not have the breakfast, offered at 12€ , so cannot comment. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I was informed, however, that the hotel has been bought by a corporation effective Nov 1st.... so I have no idea how this will affect cost or quality. Overall, if it remains affordable after the transfer of ownership, I will surely return (with earplugs).

Good hotel if you want to be on the Left Bank, but not break the bank. Location is excellent, and great spot for wandering the local area, access to La Sorbonne, and still close enough to walk to Right Bank locations.

Stayed at hotel Diana for 5 nights with my family. Hotel Diana exceeded the expectations [deserves more than 2 start status]. We were in a Triple room. Spacious room with an excellent ensuite bathroom. Clean and very bright room with A/C and view of street in front. All supplies we could get in a 4 star hotel were provided - Tea/coffee, kettle, bathroom items and fresh linen everyday. Comfortable beds. We had breakfast for first day only. breakfast was OK. There is plenty of restaurant options nearby. Check in and check out was smooth. The lift although small serves the purpose to take luggage upstairs. We will definitely opt for Hotel Diana in future.

Nice simple hotel. The rooms are small, but functional, I was there for Paris not the hotel room. Room was clean and cleaned everyday. Good shower/ bath and a good hairdryer too ! Everyone on the reception was helpful and we were able to leave our luggage on the last day. Near metro and RER and lots of cafes/ restaurants. 15 minute walk to Norte dame . Would stay again considering the price and location
