Location is perfect, close to a major train station with connection to the metro, busses, etc. super easy to get around and it’s too far from anything.

チェックイン前、チェックアウト後でもスーツケースを預かってもらえた事と、朝食ビッフェもを美味しく、スタッフさんも気さくで、対応も大変丁寧で、大変満足しています。また、パリへ旅行する際は、利用したいと思います。

On ne peut pas trouver plus proche de la Gare de l'Est. Très bien.

家庭型房間夠大，特別沙發床好睡，市區中心位置，食肆處處，只是因為舊區 ，街道整潔尚待提升。

餐廳旁邊有一個小露台可以抽煙，感覺還不錯噢，當然房間也可以開窗

We had to cancel our reservation because of a medical emergency. The hotel refused to give us a refund or to allow credit for a future stay. We feel this is a harsh outcome and that the hotel could be more understanding. It’s not as if we just changed our mind. This was a serious medical issue.

Good central location for train station and walking to various landmarks. Really lovely room and friendly helpful staff. Very clean and modern with good secure access. The only downside is that the street outside was very noisy all night long, but I imagine this is just what Paris is like.

Le Ballu is a great small hotel option in the Saint Lazare/Pigalle area of 9th arrondissement. The hotel itself is very nice inside, love the deep colors, staff was very attentive and helpful. We had one dinner in the hotel restaurant, which was top quality and a nice ambiance in the back courtyard, plus excellent wine by the glass at reasonable prices. Our room was a bit bigger than Paris-standard, nicely laid out, very cool finishes. And the bed was sooooo comfortable! The area around the hotel is a real Paris neighborhood, which was great. Extremely quiet street, but just around the corner everything you could want in terms of coffee, different food options, etc. Walking distance to Gare Saint Lazare if you need that, and Metro close by. Far enough from the nightlife of Pigalle, which we don't need, but you could get there easily if you wanted that.

Nice convenient location as walking distance to Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est, and the Metro. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores all within 1-2 blocks. Only issue is they need to have some homeless people leave that area and it may be concerning

I was in Paris on business for 1 night, and unfortunately chose the wrong hotel. The location is fine if you want to be in the middle of things as a tourist, but it looks out over a busy road junction/ pedestrian area and with hindsight, I should have looked properly and chosen a quieter road. It's right next to Gare de l'est and asides from between midnight and about 6am, there was the sound of metro trains travelling underground every 2 or 3 minutes. The room was quite small but clean. A bit scruffy with no desk or place to work. I thought the website was unclear as it says "our room service is open 24 hours". When I got there, it was made clear there was "no food" - I would have preferred a meal in the room and to work in the evening, but couldn't do either of those. I think the room service is just for snacks from a vending machine or something similar. Communication with the guy on the front desk when I arrived was tricky, my basic French and his basic English meant there were a couple of things I wasn't sure of. I was thinking of going for a run in the evening and was pleasantly surprised to see the hotel had provided a 5KM running route along the nearby canal. I thought I'd give it a go, but wouldn't recommend it. Much of the canal path is inaccessible or cobbled, and while the area was OK, the canal was lined with loads of people sat on the banks of the canal smoking ****. Not really a place to exercise. Should have chosen a more boring "business" hotel.

I have stayed in numerous hotels in a variety of areas in Paris. This hotel was in a good location (for ease of transportation). The surrounding area was not the best but it is ok if you are used to being in a city. The beds were comfy, plush towels and robes were an extra benefit. The staff was excellent- super friendly and certainly went the extra mile to help any request. The noise from the subway/trains was present but we were always so exhausted that it didn’t matter. Maybe just pack some earplugs for sleeping. The air conditioning was great too! Overall a great place!

The stay in Marcel was awfull! I felt like the hotel was a fraud. It havent seen 4stars and looks much better in the picture what it really is. The street is really noisy and sleeping was impossible even with ear blugs. The rooms are not sound proof at all and you can hear other people clearly trough walls. There is no real lobby there. Infront of the hotel door there is homeless people living and you have to use a doorbell everytime you want to get in, tells something about the area. The room or common areas were not clean. I was really dissapointment, hope we didint get any bugs from there!

The main benefit for staying at this hotel is the location, as it is directly in front of the East Train Station in Paris, on the opposite side of the street. This was also the reason why I chose this. Check in is on the first floor, so you have to get in and up one level. Staff was nice, the rooms were ok.
