This is the second time we have stayed here and it is still excellent. The whole place is very clean every member of staff that we spoke to were very friendly and welcoming. We only stayed bed and breakfast but the food that we had was very good although breakfast time can be very busy at certain times the staff always found us a table and worked very hard . The reception staff were very friendly and very helpful as well . Robert in the bar was very friendly and took time out to speak to us even though we were not all inclusive and only used the bar a few times . Last but not least Pino who does the entertainment is very funny and also works hard . We stayed in Block E room 536 and was perfect the view was stunning and the rooms were very spacious and the Lady that cleaned the room did to a high standard. I would certainly recommend this hotel and we will certainly be returning soon . So thank you all for making it a great holiday

Staff very pleasant. Hotel and room very clean. Good selection at breakfast. Two pools and surrounding area very well kept. Music quiz on last night. Would definitely stay here again. Good location with good parking. Small shop next to hotel. Area around very good for choice of different restaurants.

4.5 Stars. I keep saying it’s annoying that tripadvisor doesn’t allow a scaled score. This isn’t a 5 star review, but it’s too nice a place to give it 4 stars I feel. I’m on my last day here, so this is a review with everything fresh in mind: Rooms: the rooms are ok. They’re kept really clean and they are a good size. My kids had the twin beds so I needed up on the sofa bed. Not the comfiest sadly, but the pillows are awesome. Food: The food is ok. Read reviews saying it’s amazing, it’s not. It’s good, and it’s consistently good but it is a bit samey. 1 red meat, 1 chicken and 1 fish dish eat sitting, with sides and salads. My son and I enjoyed most things, my daughter leans towards a vegetarian diet and the choice for her (from a hot/protein perspective) wasn’t great. The good thing is you won’t go hungry and you will always find something tasty. Downsides i would say are desserts. If you like a dessert (I don’t much) you’ll be disappointed by the choice and quality I suspect Staff: the highlight of the hotel. Too many quality people to name individually. Every person here is top drawer, they’re friendly, attentive and welcoming. I have to say I found that to be true of the vast majority of guests too, there’s a real community feel here. Value: I would say for a 3* hotel this is exceptional value for money. If you’re expecting 4/5* luxury, you won’t find it here. If you want a hotel that is clean, well run, with nice pools etc, you’ll be fine. Would we return…. Yes I think we would!

well where do i start ,this hotel is amazing ,i travelled solo and felt at ease from first arriving check in staff great ,room was big enough (203) with a pool view ,room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels . bar staff mary,john and young lad whose name i forget i can not fault these guys always there if you need a drink with friendly chats . food was good always something for everyone ,waiting staff always on hand asking if you need a drink or anything . entertainment during the day could improve but evenings is great with some good shows/acts. everything you need is either at the hotel.or the beach 5min walk with the marina about 15min walk but outside the hotel you can get a bus to the marina . outside the hotel is some good bars , coco's , the pit stop (sports bar) within 2min walk . my only issue with this hotel is the pool toilets they are disgusting ,the smell is worst ever i did mention it to bar staff who just looked blank and nothing was done. all in all i would return this hotel tomorrow if i could it is that good well done to all who i met who work at this hotel and i will see you all again VERY soon

spent 2 weeks here early May, I had emailed beforehand to ask for a ground floor room with possibly a walk in shower overlooking the main pool and that is exactly what we got. Very pleased. staff were all lovely, except when our room key disappeared from the hole in the wall and we weren't believed that we hadn't moved or lost it. turned out (when they found it) that housekeeper had accidently taken it when she came in to change the towels etc. apart from that little incident we had an amazing time, loved the evening entertainment, breakfast was ok, didn't eat many main meals there as wanted to eat out most nights, the only thing I missed was swimming, despite the fact there are 3 pools not one has accessible steps into the pool, they all have ladders and with my mobility problems I can not pull myself out, please please please Damon Hotel, add some steps into one of the pools. hired a car and went out quite a lot as well. I will come back despite this as it is in a great location.

This is our 3rd year in a row. Christos and his staff can't do enough for you all are very friendly. Rooms cleaned daily, food varies daily. People have been going for 30 years, one couple twice a year for 4 weeks at a time,so hotel must be doing something right. We are booking again next year.

Just returned from our 2nd visit to the Damon, thank you to management for a surprise basket of fruit and a bottle of wine. Apartment was spacious and clean, lovely comfortable beds and pillows. AC was fine, plenty of hot water for showers, lovely balcony (faced the main road which at times was a little noisy - motorbikes and cars driving at top speed). The staff are brilliant, they can’t do enough for you. A couple of them recognised us from last year and welcomed us back, special shout out to Rob and John behind the bar. A big thank you to the chef, Nicos and his staff for helping me with my gluten free choices, providing me with a separate menu from which I pre ordered the day before. Pino is one in a million, works really hard - the entertainment programme is fun, everyone takes part and it’s a great way of mixing with the other guests. We met lots of lovely people and were very sad to leave. We’ve booked to come back in October with my daughter who I’m sure will also have a fab time!

Wish i could rate 4.5 stars as the Damon was only just short of 5 stars for me. My second stay here was so glad I came back for a second visit! Large apartment, comfy bed nice kitchenette. In my opinion the food and housekeeping both improved since last year. As for the reviews complaining about the food I honestly don’t know what people expect from a 3 * there was a good choice, yes maybe it could be a bit hotter but that’s always a challenge with buffet service. Variety of tasty dishes although I don’t think desserts were quite as good as last year there were still some yummy gateaus. Ate out a couple of times but out of personal choice not because food was not up to scratch. Towels changed daily, bedding changed once in my 9 day stay which I was happy with. Staff were lovely especially Robert on the bar and the great waiters in the restaurant. Entertainment low key but it was last week of season so probably why. Location fantastic, 10 mins from mall, 20 mins from harbour , on bus route, pit stop bar just round corner for a good fun night out, also o Neil’s bar and great food at tea for two. What’s not to love! I will definitely be making another return visit!
