I had a rough stay at Korakia. I booked through *******, this is the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in. My first solo trip after a divorce although I've traveled solo my whole life, all over the world. I arrived FROM THE BUS at 3:00, tired, and excited to be in Palm Springs, I walked from the bus stop with my heavy bags, it's the way I roll. When I arrived at 3:00 I was told my room wasn't available. Seriously? At 3:00? Come on, for a luxury hotel and a tired customer. I'm sure it's because I booked through ******* that she wouldn't let me in, which is really too bad, you'll find our reviews count the same as anyone else. When I came back later the room was pretty, but useless. My suggestion is you should sleep in your rooms. Because you would have seen how uncomfortable it is - I cannot be the only one who has complained. The light from the Christmas lights shines right through the bedroom. Making it daylight inside (oh we could have turned those off says your front desk girl, oh yeah, at midnight? After I'm so tired and didn't notice it until I turned the lights off?) and something was vibrating every ten minutes. Like a washer on rinse. Over and over, it was so loud the whole room vibrated. How does anyone sleep through that? It was also cold and had no heat? That bathroom and its floor were so uncomfortable and freezing in there. That was honestly one of the worst nights I have ever spent. One of those nights where you hold on till the sun comes up. I couldn't wait to get out of that room. And it was Christmas day. How awful. It was an unpleasant few days and I hope to spare someone else from staying in that room another night. I learned a valuable lesson about value at Korakia, that's for sure. Margaret
