During my recent stay at this hotel, I noticed several noteworthy aspects. Among them, Ivan and Antonio, the receptionists in the hotel, stood out. On various occasions, Ivan and Antonio were available and ready to solve any problem with efficiency and courtesy. Their presence was a cornerstone, especially considering the difficulties encountered with the rest of the staff. Unfortunately, the quality of service provided by their colleagues leaves much to be desired. Often indifferent attitude led to issues that could have easily been avoided with a bit more attention and effort on their part. A particularly critical aspect concerns the restaurant staff. Their unwelcoming and uncooperative attitudes towards guests were a constant during my stay, compromising the overall experience. Despite this, Ivan and Antonio were always willing to step in to improve the situation and ensure a more pleasant stay. Change your attitude or change job. Most of the waiters don't even speak or understand english, they are always speaking to eachother with a small ear bud, even when they take your order.. I would like to commend the cleaning service, which was generally excellent. The housekeeping staff was very courteous and performed their duties impeccably. However, there were a few minor inconveniences: there were often loud noises in the corridors early in the morning, which disturbed my rest. and a few ants on my bed.. Additionally, the towels were not inexplicably changed daily, which is a detail that needs attention. Although the room was clean, I noticed that the sheets had some stains, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Unfortunately, the breakfast area was dusty, in contrast to the excellent cleanliness of the room. Regarding security, it makes no sense that the key card allows access through the front door but does not ensure the back door can be securely locked. Additionally, the safe with the metal key was difficult to lock, making the system impractical and insecure. Another point of dissatisfaction was the lack of additional services available at the time of booking. I would have liked to have a bouquet of flowers to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but there were no such options. At least there was a bottle of water in the fridge. We also wanted a room service for dinner which is pretty a must for a 4 stars hotel, which unfortunately could not have. (restaurant guys didn't even want to sell us water...) A further negative aspect was the behavior of the beachside staff. The rules about bringing food and drinks beyond the gate to the beach were not enforced. We were given a cabin to use while waiting for our room to be ready, but the area had a dreadful tavern-like/punk-night club atmosphere, with people taking beers out of their backpacks.
