RedDoorz @ Island Front Cottages El Nido

Had a lovely stay at red doorz island front cottages. Would recommend highly for the views and vibes alone. Staff were lovely and super helpful, and the quiet beachfront and balcony made the stay very memorable. The rooms only come with the basics, ie. A towel, and are nothing fancy, but that is to be expected for the price. Overall, great place !

The hotel is very authentic. It’s all made out of wood and has many decorations with shells, pictures, stones and carvings. There’s no hot water, but the water feels fine. There are lots of mosquitoes and roosters at the neighbours next door. The view is amazing. Just faces the sea

Main reason to avoid this hotel is because of water. It is super smelly and stink. I don’t know why but feels like it definitely gonna makes you sick. Good for solo traveler for 1 night sleep because it is cheap

The place is a good location, walking distance from the main road, malls, and market. It is very clean and organized. The staff are very welcoming and kind; they are also very helpful when I asked them for suggestions on where to see beaches. Over all it was an amazing time with them🙂

The main reason to stay here is the location. It is on a beautiful beach. However there was a lot of noise and a lot of ants. There was dog poo outside our door for two days and the staff didn't clean it even though they walked past it. The wifi wasn't great. There were no toiletries and no hair dryer. There are no mosquito nets on the windows so we had to keep them closed. There was no water the first day we arrived and the staff did not inform us. They were definitely not sufficiently apologetic about the fact that we couldn't have a shower after traveling all day and then having to listen to the staff have a party while we were trying to sleep.

We like the hotel. But don’t stay in the front the kitchen area gets very noisy. Overall the place is nice right on the beach with beautiful sunset.
