"The staff was tremendously friendly and welcoming. It is a little more expensive than some of the other places in Pakse, but the quality far exceeds the price of a night. I stayed for three nights, and I will be back again. The wooden accents and friendly smiles make the place warm and inviting. The pool is a nice place to spend an afternoon, and the porches overlooking the pool are great for reading a book or just takin it easy. One of the managers, Ying, and the rest of the staff are incredibly helpful and give good advice on things to do around town. Breakfast is good, and I have a weird diet. They were very accommodating. The restaurant out back is open later than most other places in the city, and the food and service is good, too."

"This hotel has an excellent location, with plenty of ATMs and restaurants nearby. The staff provided great service and care, and the room looked clean and tidy upon entry. However, I have to deduct stars because I encountered many inconveniences during my stay: 1. The TV didn't work at all. I couldn't watch any channels. Even after calling reception for help, it still didn't work. 2. The TV remote control had no batteries. 3. The air conditioner was leaking so much that even the staff member who came to fix the TV noticed it. 4. The refrigerator was not working. I tried plugging it into every outlet, but it still didn't turn on. 5. There was no chair in the room as shown in the pictures. When I brought food in, I had to sit at the bedside table to eat. 6. In the bathroom, the water didn't drain at all when showering. The water level rose all the way to the toilet. 7. The room was not soundproof at all. I could hear every conversation from people walking outside the room. Plus, someone knocked on the neighboring room's door in the morning, startling me awake because I thought it was our room, but it wasn't. Also, the noise from the air conditioning or what sounded like construction in the back was very loud. I hope this feedback is constructive for future guests and the hotel. I really liked the staff; they were very helpful and spoke Thai very well."
