We stayed at the villa house facing the pool and mountain. As we had 2 young children (6 and 3), they offered us a mattress with a blanket. We shifted the queen bed to the side of the wall near the day bed. Our sleeping arrangement had me sleeping on the daybed and the children and my wife on the queen bed. This arrangement ensured that both of them don't roll down the bed as they were sanwiched by the wall and my wife. Took half a day off our travel plans to just explore the area. The place had this turf slide which the kids really enjoyed. They kept going at it. There's a little pond for fish feed at 10 baht (honour system where you place the money into a money bin.) For 10 bath, it was really a lot of fish food, 1 full container. There was also a small boat for us to row around the pond. Lots of swings around the place with great photo opportunities. Not to mention that the staff was very polite and this made our stay so pleasant. If you are looking for a classy type of resort, skip Tonsilp Art Home. But if you are looking for somewhere nice and affordable to relax, this is the place.
