I would give 5, but I need to claim that the hotel overcharged us since foreign visitors and Colombians living abroad are exempt from sales tax. We stayed 7 nights and were overcharged more than 100 dollars for sales tax. I reserved our rooms two months in advance from my home in the USA, paid the bill with a USA issued credit card, our passports have seals of entrance dated January 8, mg wife’s passport is issued by the US Government. Against all this evidence, we were charged sales tax, which I paid after the hotel promised to reimbursed as soon as the General Manager would return to his office. I gave the hotel my Bancolombia account number to receive the reimbursement, which I have not received so far. Thank you

Hotel Sochagota has been my favorite hotel in Paipa for decades. The hot springs, food, setting and views makes this hotel a very special place!

Cuando realicé la reserva, la oferta fue de $2.520.000 pesos colombianos, al momento de pagar incluyeron el IVA, lo que ocasionó que el valor final se incrementara en $500.000 más. No se supone que al momento de buscar y ver la oferta, eso que ofrecen es el precio total donde están incluidos impuestos y tasas? De no ser así, es publicidad engañosa.

Excelente hotel. Personal muy amable siempre me siento como en casa en el Sochagota hotel. En el restaurante son muy amables todos. La comida deliciosa y el desayuno es el mejor que he disfrutado en cualquier lugar. Abundancia, frescura y gran calidad. La habitación muy bien, limpia y muy cómoda. Su piscina de termales excelente Gracias a todos por brindarnos unos excelentes días de descanso y esparcimiento

Amo este hotel y hace varios años que lo visito periódicamente, me fa gusto ver caras conocidas pero, pareciera que cada vez tienen menos personal. El restaurante no ha mejorado y los precios si siguen subiendo. Para mí y mi familia fue muy triste enterarnos de lo que sucede con las aguas termales y también tuvimos que sufrir el miércoles sin piscina y el jueves un agua tan caliente que tampoco pudimos meternos. Ojalá puedan encontrar un equilibrio porque este hotel es maravilloso.
