Beautiful gardens, stunning bedroom and bathroom. Main building has beautiful rooms which introduced us to Ardmore porcelain which we now love. The staff attention to detail was superb and the food was absolutely delicious. Serene pool too. And had a gorgeous back massage. Not far from local attractions.

Fabulous country house with exceptional customer service. We received a very warm welcome as we checked in to the Rosenhof Country House. It very much feels like a British colonial country retreat. The grounds are beautiful and our room was very spacious. We stayed for one night and had dinner here which was delicious. The breakfast setting is so pretty and the food once again mouth-watering. The staff are a great asset to this place. Each one we came across was so welcoming. We asked in the evening if laundry services can be provided in time for our check out the next morning and we were informed yes! Clothes will be taken at 6am and ready by 9am and we were so pleased to have this delivered as promised.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at this charming boutique hotel. The service was top-notch from the moment we arrived—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety and fresh ingredients that made every meal a pleasure. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and really went the extra mile to ensure we had a memorable experience. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, with every little detail thoughtfully considered. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right, but this hotel absolutely nailed it. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

Our stay at the Rosenhof was part of a trip through South Africa. On arrival, we were warmly greeted and made to feel very comfortable and relaxed. The room was well equipped and everything worked correctly. We ate at the hotel both evenings (having spent all day out exploring) and the food was first rate. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful - nothing seemed too much for any of them. The hotel was also quite close to the centre of Oudtshoorn. A great place to stay.

We only stayed one night. But the hotel was very good the food was excellent in the restaurant. The only issue we had was one of our party was in a wheelchair which we were able to get in and out of the rooms by okay but we couldn’t use the shower. But we were able to use the bath

Accommodation is in traditional cottages dotted around the extensive well maintained gardens. It is in a peaceful location on the edge of town with a funky good value restaurant next door. Suites are large and well appointed with a comfortable longe area and separate patio. Breakfast was extensive and the staff were very friendly and attentive. When we checked out we found that our car had been washed which was a nice touch. The main part of town is not close by but as we were only stopping overnight to break our journey the more rural location was perfect.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Rosenhof Country house during a trip along the Garden Route. The ONLY downside from our stay was that all our other accommodation during the trip was overshadowed by the experience of staying at the Rosenhof. I cannot recommend it highly enough. 10/10

Very charming guesthouse with attentive staff. Beautiful garden with trees and a nice pool. Breakfast was a fantastic spread and our room very nice. The aircon was a bit creaky when switched on and made cracking noises. Overall a very nice stay.
