Le Relais des Landes

This is a very isolated hotel and because of location you would probably arrive by car which is totally necessary as the is no other bar or restaurant within walking distance. The rooms are well appointed and large. Friendly staff with owners and many staff speaking excellent English. Good buffet breakfast. Restaurant food was expensive. Swimming pool and nice grounds

We loved the little cabin in the woods, where it was very quiet with forest views on all sides. The cabin was spacious and had everything we wanted. It was just a few minutes' walk away from the main hotel buildings, and the cabin was fully wheelchair accessible, which we appreciated very much. The grounds around the hotel have lovely flowers, lots of trees and even a small creek running through the area, making for a lovely place to enjoy a quiet stroll. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The hotel buildings have ramps to allow wheelchair access to the dining and bar areas. The "La Closerie Restaurant" offered a very good menu and choice of wines. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed the view from the restaurant of the courtyard gardens. The service in the restaurant was excellent and we were well taken care of. We were also delighted to find a very good piano in the dining room which my wife was welcome to play after dinner. This was an added bonus for us! There is only one negative thing for wheelchair users: The parking is small gravel stones, and the paths to the cabins are just dirt / caliche, so not as wheelchair friendly as we would have liked. However, in spite of this disadvantage, this is definitely a place we will come back for a longer stay!

Amazing spot….. great restaurant. « A must » stop in the region.

Very nice hotel ideally situated in the Loir region. The rooms are nice and quiet. We had a good breakfast and dinner. There are enough facilities for parking and leisure. Ideal situated for visits of wine cellars and castles.

The hotel with its beautiful rooms, but also the stylish Tiny Houses made of wood amidst the enchanting landscape with birch trees and a stream meandering along are a wonderful place to stay and relax. The restaurant is excellent and leaves nothing to be desired.

We stayed for a couple of nights with our three children. The accommodation worked well for us, with a room for us and a separate room upstairs for the children. We also had a nice courtyard at the back with a table and chairs. The grounds of the hotel are very beautiful and we enjoyed the pool area. Breakfast was good and we also had a nice dinner at the hotel restaurant. The location of the hotel is great, within easy reach of several Loire valley castles. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

.... I stayed for 2 nights in the hotel and in Michelin terms I would say: ça vaut le détour ! All staff is very friendly, the room was up-to-date with AC, the quality of the restaurant is outstanding. In case you have any doubt: there is really no reason ! Biking in the region is very popular ... We went from the hotel to Blois through a lovely environment. We arrived also a bit too early at the hotel and the staff at the reception arranged that we could enter our room earlier than expected.

Quiet hotel situated in a very peaceful environment. Check in was relatively fast and efficient. We were taken to our room by the receptionist. Our room was situated on the first floor and was well designed and decorated. After a long trip we had a quick swim at the swimming pool and enjoyed it. Coming back to the room we were intrigued by the way the towels were displayed in the bathroom and we thought well that is perhaps the way they do it. We had an excellent diner at the restaurant, each dish of the set menu was just great, the products and cooking methods were great. Service very good. we really enjoyed the evening and definitely recommend this restaurant for its quality of food and service. When we went back to the room, we opened our bed to discover that there was a left over tee-shirt and that the bed sheets and pillow cases were not changed, we then realized why the bathroom towels were not folded but just hanged. I went to the desk and the receptionist was very fast and efficient. He offered us another room but we didnt want to move at 11 pm. So he came with one of his colleague (a young chef) and did the bed and changed the linen. The next day, he advised us that the management had decided to offer our dinner dinner drinks complementary. The check out was very long with a wrong invoice with an extra night added (I had used a hotels reward coupon for a night) and 6 breakfasts. I had to email them my ********** invoice to prove the rate and the free night.

We enjoyed the setting, enjoyed the staff and the food.
