We felt amazing at the property as this was indeed beautiful and located on hill....the view from the property is superb and breathtaking.

As for the management, the government is keeping tabs on foreigners asking for all the documents for legally entering the country. It’s really hostile for management to act like immigration officers. And then bothering again and again because they made a mistake in filing some government intimations forms about a foreigner being here. No other hotel system in other states have bothered me about my documents even after I entered this country legally. They placed us in a corner and forgot about us. Room service only showed up after 3rd day, room cleaning. Overall, this place is just a fancy looking place with poor services. FYI their food was horrible, it tasted like rubbish, weird blend of spices that didn’t even felt like Indian food. I ordered Gobi Manchurian and some fries that arrived cold. Outside food is not allowed, so I had to walk a quarter of a km away in the cold so be prepared. 4 star resort with 2 star service.

Positives - Comfortable beds. Nice views. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Negatives - Wifi didn’t work. Service was painfully slow.

Hotel location is good......Common areas are well maintained however the rooms are not as reflected in photograph on the website....Restaurant is not well managed although the staff is good but I feel there is a lot of scope for improvement. ...Buffet breakfast is good....Biryani taste was good....Food in general was good...Had to wait for more than 30 minutes for the hotel staff to transfer my luggage from room during checkout.....There was a lot of difference between the price as mentioned on trip.com and directly with hotel.....Trip.com was less for the same Privilege Suite....

Happy n excited with the stay n the hospitality given by the staff n the well maintained environment n the beautiful flowers planted around n the beauty surrounded …it’s a good good happy experience n love the view of the garden n facilities and the awesome food catering in the restaurant..

We had a fantastic stay with family here. Opted for family suite! The view was amazing… Their staff is v cooperative & friendly specially mahadeb and Mishra ....The breakfast buffet was also nice with so many options! They have other activities too - game room, DJ & lawn. Overall wonderful stay for my family. Thanks Sterling Elk Hill!

Was so good to dine at sterling Ooty…..full of chillness….very good ambience too….had delicious food items in the afternoon followed by tea in the evening…..such a good moments at sterling to recollect……good food quality and staff service were so good…..enjoyed well

We've stayed at Sterling Elk Hill many times. It is located up on a hill with great views. The property is well maintained and Sterling team does a great job of making the guests comfortable. Restaurant and in room dining is good and there are play areas and activities to keep kids busy. Great option for a comfortable stay.

Dear All at Sterling Elk Hill Ooty, Thank you for a very comfortable and relaxing stay at the Sterling Elk Hill, Ooty. It starts with the Leader! Thank you Mr Sumesh and Mr Sampath. Thank You for meeting with us on Check-in and your presence in the Lobby during peak timings to ensure all is well. After a long long drive from Bengaluru – our Check-in was quick and seamless inspite of a Group Check-in happening simultaneously. We were guided to a quick and efficient check-in. We stayed between the 9th and 11th May 2024. Our rooms were clean and neat and absolute value for money. The Tea/Coffee Kettle & Tray and the mini refrigerator were much used. Overlooking the wonderful view complemented the room. All our requests were completed quickly and courteously. Breakfast was efficient and grading out the not-so-busy to the Crazily Busy timings helped us and a lot of other guests to space out our coming for Breakfast. Food was delicious and hot and much needed in the temperature of 11 deg and less. The Tea Trolley with Hot Tea and Cookies and tiny cup cakes very well thought of in the Lobby Sit-Out whilst we waited for our Cars for sight-seeing. Thank You Again. The Subuthi Elk Spa – So very well managed and the different Treatments very well explained and once concluded we were relaxed and rejuvenated for sure! A Special Thank You to your well disciplined and efficient staff – can remember Divyashree, Mohammed, Divyanshu and Mahadeb and each and every associate we came in contact with. They stay was amazing with a great view and nice hospitality location is a bit far from main market bt they have Auto rickshaws at your service One can stay here with family for a nice leisure and have a beautiful view of Ooty city view specially in the night

Excellent stay in hotel. Food was excellent and the staff behavior is outstanding. Always prefer to stay in this hotel. It was full of greenery, they have maintained the hotel with colorful flowers, rooms were neat & clean, have maintained the hygen in restaurant also.
