The hostel is located on the second floor of an apartment building. The room is very new and overall very comfortable and very clean with a cozy lobby. Compared to other youth hostels I stayed in, there were particularly many Western tourists carrying large hiking bags. Since the business district of Odawara City is concentrated around the station, there are few restaurants and supermarkets near the hostel, and there are no washers and dryers provided. It takes you approximately 8 minutes to walk to the laundry and the centered area of the city. great stay! it’s right by odawara station and surrounded by so many restaurants. loved having air conditioning rather than just a fan, and the communal area was cosy and great for a chat with new friends.

The hostel is about 8-10 minutes from Odawara Station. The room is a bit compact, but it is very suitable for a simple transition for one night. Ctrip’s prices are more expensive than other platforms and the front desk. You can stay on Agoda for 2,200 at the front desk, which gives you a 10% cashback and a discount, which is also cheaper than Ctrip. I only realized this after comparing it after moving in! A little disappointed!

There was no counter service when I checked in, only instructions in the envelope. I only received an email after I checked out asking me to fill in basic check-in information. What I am dissatisfied with is that the instructions in the envelope can use a highlighter or blue pen to clearly mark the parts that need to be filled in, and include a pen for filling in the information, so that people who are not familiar with the process and foreign languages ​​can immediately understand that this document must be filled out. The email that contacted me to fill in the information afterwards did not tell me which platform to use to reply correctly. This forced me to sacrifice a lot of extra time to study on top of my busy schedule, and I didn't even know if my information had been submitted correctly. All these inconsiderate and rude services made me waste a lot of time after checking out, and I felt very unhappy about it.

Great! I would happily stay here again if I were in town. Clean, welcoming and conveniently located to all the sights and the train station. Great common area. The only thing is, I booked a place in a women's room, in the end there were 2 men and a woman with me. Well, somehow not very good...
