Charming small hotel with central courtyard, only 6 rooms, great location and service. You can walk to zocalo , restaurants, museums but away from the commotion. Safe area, our room was big and light, on first floor, faced the street which I enjoyed. Hotel is in a former residence, clean and quiet. The nicest part is the staff- knowledgeable about sights, museums,activities, shopping . Breakfast of coffee or chocolate, fresh tropical fruits, juice and pan dulce is included. There are two stories, no elevator but they will carry your bags up. We will stay here again.

Excellent location. Lovely decorated rooms. The staff keeps the place very clean. All the people that work there were very kind and helpful. Ana was very professional and gave excellent suggestions. Definitely will go back. Go! You won’t regret it.

We really enjoyed this boutique hotel. We stayed in a large, beautiful room with a great view of one of the main streets. It is only a few blocks from the zocalo so great location. Breakfast was simple but fresh and well made. The service is spot on. We would stay there again.

Casa Catrina is located in a great location without being in the most busy area. The hotel is quaint & the staff is attentive. Breakfast that was included was fruit, granola, pastries & fresh juice and coffee. The only problem was no hot water 4 out of 5 days there.

We had a great experience at this wonderful hotel! The staff were very sweet, courteous and professional! The hotel is very clean and close to lots of activities, restaurants and walking distance to Santo Domingo church. It’s close but in a nice quiet zone! I highly recommend this place!

We experienced a very wonderful and comfortable stay, highly recommended it! The hotel staff were very, sweet, courteous, professional and made us feel welcomed. It’s within walking distance to many activities, walking distance to Santo Domingo church but in an area where it’s clean and quiet.

I had booked 2 rooms at Casa Catrina, April 2024, the friends that I was traveling with, and I were pleasantly surprised with our rooms: so spacious, clean and beautiful. The hotel is well situated, the location is ideal and very close to everything. The breakfast and the juices from natural fruits were delicious. The best for last, is the staff, everyone was delightful, extremely professional, accommodating, you cannot ask for more admirably people. I highly recommend Casa Catrina, most definitely will stay there on my next trip to Oaxaca!

A great hotel. Delightful room exceptionally clean and comfortable with our own beautiful terrace. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, accommodating and friendly. Would recommend this hotel highly and would love to return. It is also well situated for all the main sights in Oaxaca

We traveled with another couple to Oaxaca in January 2024 and had two rooms at Casa Catrina. We were completely happy with our experience! The hotel is beautifully appointed, having been converted from a private residence. The location is perfect for exploring the historic district with many restaurants, shops, and services nearby. The two rooms on the second floor with a door opening to the terrace are wonderful! One of our two couples had a terrace room and having breakfast there was truly a perfect way to start the day. However, all the rooms seemed spacious and nicely appointed. Even better than the hotel property itself were the staff. Each was exemplary in their roles and truly made us feel at home. We recommend Casa Catrina very highly.
