I arrived in Delhi on the 8th of Jan and was booked in the Seven Seas from the 8th to the 12th Jan 2025. When I checked in on the 8th they gave me Room no 909 on the 9th floor. My problems started with the WiFi no working in the room. When I called and asked the front desk said, to login with a voucher code which they provided, but it still wasn’t working. Then when I returned to the hotel in the evening, the TV in the room was not working. The audio was out. I called and informed the reception, they said they will someone and didn’t bother sending anyone. Day 2: The next morning was the shocker, when I stepped in the shower, there was no hot water!!! When I called and complained to the front desk, they mentioned that pipe had burst and some repair was going on. Then they had a housekeeping guy bring hot water in a bucket to my room. Then they provided me with a mug to take a shower with that had some oily greasy dirty substance all over it. To make matters worse, the hot water that was brought was smelly! I had to use a drinking water bottle to shower with! So embarrassing. Even worse there was no remorse on behalf of the staff or the management. Mind it is the second day, and the TV audio still wasn’t working. They had not bothered. I called around 8:00 pm and complained again to the front desk, and a housekeeping guy knocks on my door at 10:30pm asking to check the TV, and says he will change it and brings a TV from another room and fixes it. The WiFi in the room is still not working. Day 3: The hot water problem is still not fixed and they bring me the same smelly water in a bucket but thankfully with a new clean mug this time. So before stepping out for the day, I clearly asked the hotel to cancel my pending reservation and return my money, they said they couldn’t do it! Then when I got irritated and asked for senior management, they said they will change my room! I even told them my luggage was packed and they could shift my room in my absence and that I would come and collect the key for the new room. To my shock when I returned late that evening, I was asked to go back to the same room! The front desk guy said he had no instructions from the earlier shift guy to change the room! When I threw a fit, they finally agreed to change my room to 803! To my relief the WiFi was working, but guess what, the hot water problem persisted! Day 4: I again get hot water in a bucket and decided this was not worth it, so I decided to check out one day earlier and left. What was worse is the staff at the front desk are always standing around discussing how to cover up their mistakes and make it look like the customer is wrong. They have answers ready for each customers according to their planning. THE ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL INHAVE EVER STAYED IN! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, even if it were the last place on earth!
