Ulasan Niseko Konbu Onsen Tsuruga Moku-No-Sho

This is a family trip for two adults and two kids. And we stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, bfast and dinner included. It's apparent in the booking that we will have kids in the stay, and yet either Trip.com/hotel charged us meals for 4 adults for the entire trip. We ended up overpaying A LOT and wasting A LOT of food because the kids couldn't finish the set meal. Yet the hotel refused to adjust / refund. This was a serious mistake made by Trip.com / hotel. The hotel provided shuttle bus to the ski resort. Good that there was early shuttle bus around 815am BUT the return shuttle was way too early (4pm) for any serious skiers. The hotel should offer more options. There was no gym in the hotel and difficult to do some proper full-body exercise. Onsen set up was nice and clean and tidy. The public onsen wasn't used much so it ended up a big private onsen for us. We like the traditional Japanese cusine but very disappointed that the chef provided limited changes on the menu during our 7 nights of stay. We spent roughly same number of nights elsewhere in Niseko and the design of their menu was way better. Staff in general was very helpful and friendly and some of them spoke English and Chinese. The hotel was short of staff IMO. I could see them running around in the hotel. The ski equipment room could be equipped with better facility to dry ski boots and gloves. Shuttle bus was only offered to Niseko but not Kutchan station which was in fact not too far away anyway. The room was clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel was great too. It's 10mins from the Niseko station and 5mins from annupuri ski run.

2nd time staying at this hotel. First was pre-covid. The hotel needs a bit renovated in the rooms (ie. the in room onsen have cracks, bathrooms). Otherwise, the service from staff, dining, and the hotel itself are top notch in the Niseko area.

Very convenient if you are planning to do some skiing in Niseko, great dinner menu and amazing lounge with a fireplace and complementary wine. Breakfast is Japanese style with no alternatives, the staff is nice but calling a taxi is mission impossible and everyone is quite dismissive with the guests, like there is no taxi and that’s not our problem, in a hotel this expensive it should be your problem whether you like it or not.

Staffs were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and big. Perfect for couple.

Facilities: I booked a private bath suite and was very satisfied. The room was large and comfortable, and you could take a bath and watch the snow at any time. It was like heaven on earth. Hygiene: You need to take off your shoes to enter the entire hotel, which is spotless. Environment: The surrounding environment is very quiet, with heavy snow and gurgling water. The details inside the hotel are great, the layout, furniture, light, furnishings... every place makes people happy. Service: Very good experience! Everyone is gentle and smiling. Especially "Zhou Yi", which is impressive💯Introduced us a lot of local allusions and ingredients, details of wine, very good👍🏻 Niseko, see you next year. I will choose Konbu Onsen Tsuruga again!

The hotel facilities are good, but many foreign guests are a bit loud. Especially at night, the restaurant is not big, and four or five white men sit together, chattering, and the food becomes a social restaurant, which is a bit annoying...

The room type with hot springs is excellent, with a traditional style; it is very clean, large and smart, and the terrace overlooks the beautiful snow scenery; the public bath is basically empty before 17:30, and toiletries are available, so you can enjoy the snow scenery while taking a bath. The staff will wait for guests to check in at the gate, and the language communication is smooth, and there is Chinese service (it depends on the working hours, not always available). The luggage will be transported to the room, and you don’t have to check in by yourself. You will be guided to the lobby to rest for a while, and the staff will handle it. The drinks in the lobby are free, and roasted marshmallows and butter potatoes are also unlimited. Some board games are also provided for entertainment. Next to it is the moiwa ski resort, a five-minute drive away. After returning, you can massage the massage chair in the room and then take a beautiful bath. It is very comfortable~ The dining time in the morning and evening will also be asked in advance, and the daily meals will not be repeated, which feels like opening a blind box. The drinks in the brown long book can be enjoyed at will. It is recommended to try the local white wine, which is sweet after the entrance, and people like me who don’t drink often can accept it. The next day, I was lucky enough to be seated by the window, where I could enjoy the snow scenery while eating. 👍 Overall, it is a very good resort with a slow pace. If you have money, you can book it at will, or it is also a good choice to come during the off-season. I hope to see you next spring and summer~

The location of the hotel is very remote. Although I know that the price is a bit more expensive in the peak season, the 1.30 thousand is really not worth it and I feel like I am being killed. The breakfast at the hotel was pretty good, but the dinner was terrible. The fresh food was even worse than the domestic Japanese food buffet. I was so speechless. When they first introduced us, they said they could help us take a taxi. In the evening, we went to the front desk to ask if they could help us take a taxi. They replied with a word "no" and didn't explain why. Later, our companion was more tough and still helped us take a taxi, but there was no car. This was not possible. Blame them (again the hotel is too remote). Because the hotel is too remote, there are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, so I can only stay in the hotel, which is OK, but the heating in the entire hotel is turned on extremely low, so I have to wear Uniqlo bottoms inside. Girls should not come to this hotel to take good photos. The photos are very ordinary, very dark, and the room is not easy to take pictures. The private bath is easier to take pictures, but the private bath room is very expensive and there is absolutely no need.

The service is very good, but sometimes there are too many children and it is a bit noisy in the lobby. The rest are all good, especially the hot springs are rarely crowded, it is snowing outside, and the atmosphere is full. It is also close to the ski resort, and the hotel also has a shuttle bus.

Super favorite hotel

Good privacy, good service (there is a Chinese waiter, very nice, named Zhou Yi), breakfast and dinner. From decoration to catering to service, it is very Japanese. Suitable for skiing or just relaxing for a few days.
