wonderful experience and will revisit again!
impressed since landing when meeting the resort staff assisting us on baggage.
staffs were all well-prepared and helpful. Ms. Nhi and her team welcomed me and my husband with gracious hospitality, making us feel like at home.
there were many activities to do that you could spend 4 days or longer without getting bored.
the villa itself had full amenities (i’m so impressed that they offered sunblock as well). bed was comfortable and the room functions were very well-designed.
housekeeping came to clean most of the time when we were not at the villa and they refilled everything each time (we never ran out of anything).
bbq course dinner was incredible, both taste-wise and service-wise, which made me and my husband started to love vietnamese food especially the fresh spring rolls.
overall, we are truly grateful for the outstanding service provided by amanoi!

The service at Amanoi was fantastic, meeting the high standards expected from Aman. However, some issues, particularly the unexpected noise, impacted our stay:
Noise Disruption - Most Disappointing Aspect: Our first morning was serene, but on the second day, we were unexpectedly awakened by loud machinery noise from a nearby park as early as 6–7 a.m. The disturbance continued throughout the morning, interrupting even our attempt to rest after breakfast. Many guests travel all the way to Amanoi to find peace and tranquility away from city noise, so this was especially disappointing. Although the hotel eventually offered a small compensation after we raised the issue, it would have been preferable if they had addressed it proactively.
Location Issues: The location listed on Trip.com was incorrect, causing our Grab driver to drop us at a different place. The driver then charged extra to get us to the correct location. Accurate location information could prevent this inconvenience for future guests.
Limited Dining Options - Lack of Pre-arrival Information: Amanoi has only two dining options, with the BBQ restaurant open to the public only on Saturdays. Unfortunately, this detail wasn’t shared with us beforehand, so we missed the BBQ night and had to dine at the same restaurant both nights. While pre-arrival communications were focused on add-on cost services like transportation and visa fast-tracking, providing essential details such as dining schedules and locations would have greatly enhanced our planning and experience.
Language Accessibility: My mother reads only in Chinese, and we were given a Chinese menu only during our final meal out of four. Having this option from the beginning would have significantly improved her dining experience.
At first arrival, you experience a truly grand staircase and entrance to the lobby. It’s a showstopper. We arrived late and the resort GM greeted us. The resort is located in picturesque national park that we only saw upon departure. We agree this our favorite hotel globally. It is spectacular. Aman differentiates itself with its service. Amanoi staff had an exceptional dedication to our time together. Joy, the GM, is exceptionally charismatic and glamorous. Housekeeping, restaurant servers and room service delivery team were great. We requested a number of exceptions for us during the stay (early pool opening, off-menu food requests) and they worked to make them happen. Though every staff member we interacted with was helpful and pleasant, I’d like to give special mention to Sunny, Putu, Tony and Keva all of whom are world-class hospitality professionals. We stayed in Room 11, an “Amanoi Ocean Pool Villa.” It had a spectacular vista of the bay. Amazing, unforgettable view. There is a private 40’ infinity pool which was really terrific. We loved the privacy. Strongly recommend. Unlike other pavilion and villa types, it had its own private library, well stocked with books, which we used and loved. Shower and bathroom in general were terrific. We wished the wall coverings were grander like they are at Amandari and that they had Japanese style bidet toilets. A/C was bone chilling. We loved the grand view onto the bay where we could see Vietnamese fishing boats during the day at distance. At night, the bright lights of squid boats would light up the sea like stars. The only services that we had were three massages. My husband was in love with his hand massages by the talented Oanh, to the point where he had one and then went back for another. They come with the highest of recommendation. The private hydrotherapy suites, which cost about $35 an hour to use, are also lovely enough to make up for the odd lack of complimentary sauna and steam room. At this hotel you get around by buggy. You call and they come and get you. We like being as close as we were to the main lobby. It works fine, though we occasionally had to wait a few minutes. The food was all around OK — not bad, but probably the weakest element of the resort. We did like the variety of foods available. My husband has more exotic tastes and I have more (to me) traditional western tastes. We were able to both order and enjoy our respective meals. The culinary highlight was a private BBQ dinner that took place in the five-bedroom Residence 18; the staff there did a fabulous job decorating the area and creating a custom menu for us. This dinner was included with the package we booked, but we would’ve been happy if we’d paid for it too. We did not like the Beach Club. It was small, the sand was rough, and the water was a bit dirty from the nearby fishing village. I would not want to stay here if I did not have our own pool and private outdoor area. We do not like interact

Amanoi is an oasis of calm, in a very luxurious rendition:) The estate is huge, with a hilly terrain - perfect for walking or jogging, but with buggies on the ready if you prefer. The walk down to the beach (and back) is a particularly scenic one, and the Beach Club offers an excellent lunch menu when you get there. The pavilions/ villas are incredibly beautiful, designed for you to relax and unwind, with amazing views on the sea; and immaculately clean. The gym is spacious, well equipped and as beautiful in design as the other buildings; and the spa just next to it offers fantastic treatments (hot stone massage highly recommended!). The gym/ spa building is located by the lake, which makes another amazing walk. And finally - the food is delicious (catering to various dietary requirements will not be a problem at all), and the service excellent. I would like to thank Amanoi staff for making my stay so wonderful. Anything less than perfect? The airport - where in contrast to the above, the food is just horrendous (I would have asked for a packed lunch at Amanoi if had any idea how bad it was). Amanoi is doing a great job though, by having a representative at the airport to help the guests. Overall, an absolutely top class luxury resort - I will certainly look to explore other Aman properties in Asia!

We stayed here for 3 nights in May 2023 and it is one of our favorite properties we’ve ever stayed at. This was our first time staying at an Aman and it blew away our expectations. The property is stunning and service is incredible. The staff are able to predict what you need before you even ask, making it a truly luxurious and easy experience. This is one of the few Aman properties with its own private beach and is SO worth the distance to get here. We booked their wellness pool villa hideaway package and loved every part of it. If you plan to do multiple spa treatments, this is 100% worth it. Your villa has its own private pool, spa and hammam. We tried multiple services including massages, hammam, facials and pedicures and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. All amenities & experiences were great - Daily afternoon tea is a nice touch, guided snorkeling is great, the complimentary local fruit is delicious and the cooking class is in a beautiful ocean view private space. The complimentary sparkling lime ginger drink they bring to you by the ocean or pool is also very nice and super refreshing on a hot day. Our only suggestion is to have more local options at the main restaurant. We loved the beach club food but found the dinner offerings at the main restaurant to be a bit too European/tourist friendly and just ok. We absolutely loved our trip here and hope to return again soon. We would easily give this property 10/10 stars if a higher rating was possible!!

Amanoi is the #1 Aman property. I have been to over 15 Aman resorts and this is the #1 on my list and here is why: 1) The property has something for everyone and is big yet feels tasteful 2) The general manager, Joy, is extremely well respected by the entire team and has an eye for detail 3) The food is extremely good and artfully mixes local cuisine with elevated preparation 4) The beach club is awesome! 5) The people first hospitality culture (This should be #1) Some highlights from our trip: Boat day out in the bay and snorkeling, a few hours of cold plunging at the spa house, private dinner setup that looked better than an engagement, and the housekeeping team. These housekeepers are ninjas! Every time you weren’t looking the room was cleaned, bed was made and fruit bowl was always full, huge shoutout to this team! June is hot but not unbearable! Summer months are when a lot of families visit, but we didn’t mind. Americans should stay a minimum of 5-6 nights, a ton to do. Thanks Joy! We love Amanoi and everything the team does to make it special.

The occasion was for my husband's birthday. What I like: 1. Housekeeping was top notch. Our room was made up everytime we return to it. Ninja stealth like. We never see them. 2. A very well kept property. It was picturesque nearly every where you turn. Architecture very beautiful. Stayed in Villa 21 - Breathtaking views of mountain at the deck, and partial ocean view at our entrance. 3. Staff were attentive. We went to beach club and wanted some homemade ginger juice drink, they ran out. Next day it appeared when we took a swim at the cliff pool without us asking for it. 4. Staff remember guest names. My 7 year old was most impressed that they know her name. 5. Many thanks to Putu, Nhi, Lam, Hau for making our stay memorable. Also to the staff at the Beach Club (I missed her name, apologies! We went on 15 June evening and she kindly informed us the homemade ginger juice drink had ran out). Pretty sure she informed the team on what we missed out to enabled it to appear the next day for us. 6. Spa was worthwhile to experience. Husband was happy. 7. I like the fact plastic is being minimised through out the property where possible. Unsure it is part of ESG effort but good to know less plastic usage wherever it is possible. 8. Decent kids activities to keep them entertained. 9. Friendly and helpful Beach Club attendants. The little one did her 1st Catamaran and found it fun. Areas of improvement: 1. Had private picnic lunch. Venue was beautiful but the beach were littered with plastic bottles. I know it was washed up the shore but would be good for staff clean it up. Same with the beach club - not plastic bottles but small pieces of plastic 2. Food...was good but given that Amanoi is pretty secluded, I would love to see a more extensive Vietnamese cuisine on the menu. Especially given how healthy and delicious it is. Hats off to chef though. Bun Ca was delicious and had that every breakfast. Coffee was on the point. 3. An Aman app to communicate with the guest would be most helpful. Technology unfortunately is not Aman's strong suit. 4. Netflix is only avaliable at The Library. Had the impression it was available in the room given how it was stated in on the website.

I want to give Amanoi five stars. A few things fell short. 1) the the size of the adults-only pool (maybe 8-10 loungers) which was not-enforced as adults-only (kids, teenagers), service was attentive despite the lack of enforcing no kids, and 2) the beach club was a bit odd in set-up in that diners are right next to the pool loungers. December is very windy and at times rainy, so be prepared (no fault of the resort, of course!) Make spa appointments in advance - I had life changing treatments and the treatments were exceptional. The room was expansive, well-appointed, excellent housekeeping. Specialty drinks at the bar were very creative and tasty. The dining menu is expansive, perhaps too expansive. I didn't find any one particular item out of this world. I would go back for the serenity and spa. It was a short stay and with the weather it didn't make much sense to book excursions, so I can't speak to those. If you care about pool access consider a villa with a private plunge. The sunsets are suppose to be amazing but sadly the weather didn't cooperate!
