We had a lovely stay here! The family is so welcoming and always had a chat with us. The room was big and very clean with an excellent view out of the window! The internet was very good- I was able to online work fine. At nighttime it was very quiet and I slept very very well! Would 100% recommend!

The hotel was clean and modern, with friendly staff and excellent amenities. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the city. The location was convenient, close to restaurants and attractions. Overall, a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

The owner gave me a ride to the train station on the last day, loaned me a bicycle, helping me to arrange a tour of Mua Caves - and also gave me free "happy water" (rice wine on the house!). Clean comfortable room, central location, warm friendly staff. I'd come back.

AMAZING!! First home stay in our 8 weeks of travelling as a couple & wow, we will be staying in them a lot more. This place was so so homely, we absolutely loved it. Huge rooms, the sweetest family run hotel, would do us a taxi or provide motorbike at the smallest cost. I couldn’t recommend high enough! 10/10 👍🏼

Definitely a good place for all the backpackers and small group travelers with an affordable price . We booked a deluxe twin room with balcony and the room was really nice. Definitely recommend you to choose this hotel. No lost.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Friendly Home Hotel. A heartwarming family-run business where even the kids speak English. The warm smiles and yummy food, including the extra fruit desserts, made it a delightful experience. Perfect for solo travelers too!

This hotel is nice, cheap and clean

A good place to stay. The owners are English speaking and were very helpful. The rooms are nicely furnished and are absolutely spotless. My only criticism was the lock on my door. It wasn’t working properly and I had difficulties accessing the room on several occasions.

El nombre «Friendly» no es en vano, me he sentido extremadamente a gusto y tratado con amistad. Es un hotel de gestión familiar. Todos son muy atentos y cordiales, el trato es excelente, muy cercano. A la vez son extremadamente profesionales, saben muy bien lo que hacen. La habitación estaba muy limpia y perfectamente equipada con todo lo imaginable. Hay mosquiteras para el verano, hay una estufa en el baño para ducharse en invierno, aire acondicionado, ventilador, televisor, múltiples opciones de iluminación, caja fuerte... Todas las posibilidades estaban pensadas. Me sorprendió que hubiera enchufes en todos los rincones, por ejemplo no habría problema en elegir un lugar adecuado para usar el teléfono mientras se carga con un cable corto. Igualmente había disponible un juego de costura que utilicé para reparar mi ropa, siempre muy de agradecer. También utilicé el servicio de lavandería. En Friendly Home también son guías turísticos y organizan viajes en grupo por la zona y otros lugares. No hice uso de esta opción, en parte por desconocimiento previo, en parte por ser un viajero individual. Si se desea esta opción, recomiendo ponerse en contacto con ellos antes de viajar, seguro que pueden sugerir alguna posibilidad. En mi caso opté por alquilar una de sus bicicletas, lo cual fue ideal como viajero individual para poder visitar a mi ritmo los lugares que me interesaban (principalmente quería ver las montañas y los campos de arroz, pero no me interesaban las rutas por el río). Así estuve en varios lugares espectaculares donde apenas había turistas. La bicicleta disponía de un soporte para el teléfono, fue estupendo para usar el navegador GPS sin soltar las manos del manillar o tener que pararse. Disponen de mapas propios de las zonas más turísticas donde se resumen muy bien las recomendaciones. En Ninh Bình todo está más cerca de lo que parece, pero a la vez no hay un sistema de autobuses públicos, así que estos mapas son muy útiles para planear nuestra ruta ideal en base a nuestros intereses. Me marché de Ninh Bình en un tren nocturno y me ofrecieron la posibilidad de mantener la habitación durante varias horas del día con un precio con descuento, lo cual me resultó utilísimo, ya que me permitió poder refrescarme antes de comenzar el viaje. Acerté plenamente al elegir mi alojamiento en Ninh Bình. 100% recomendable, voy a guardar un grato recuerdo.
