Hotel dekat Gufeng Pavilion, Ningbo

This hotel had some wonderful review which actually led me to book it for the first time . This was my third visit to the property. Based on my experience over the three visit which were rather lengthy this hotel’s target market is predominantly local market . If compared to their international franchise 4 star peers the hotel lacks in many areas. 1. They offer a good spread of buffet breakfast but the assortment is mostly focused on locals guests . The selection seldom changes. 2. The bakery products offered were not fresh . Found to be cold and stale 3. Fresh fruits were found to be mixed with stale ones , not sure if they used the ones from the previous days . 4. House keeping was not the best , often found coffee-tea cups not cleaned or replaced . 5. Requested for in room complimentary coffee instead of tea . They sell coffee pouches at lobby, but instead they ask me to go down and ask for coffee at the lobby. 6. The small gym does not have any sanitiser tissue to clean the equipment before use . 7. At the lobby they have a cafe which is also the office for the hotel management staff. In the evening the area is completely mosquito infested , difficult to sit even for 5 minutes . 8. The hotel turned off the Cookson’s system , inside room temperature went up to 29 degree C. After repeated request they did something but that also did not take the temperature below 24 Degrees. 9. The hotel needs serious consideration about training the lobby staffs . A simple way to explain is their face is curved in stone . No emotion! 10. They need to review their safety protocol, they sent my guest directly to the room without even asking . For many my comments may not matter for some it may . I have spent almost 10 days on my last visit so I can’t ignore those . The best part of the stay was Mary ( forgot to ask her position). I think she’s the manager . She is the ideal face of a hotel . She has been the most pleasant and supportive among all the staffs at the hotel.

Great location. Stayed in about 10+ different hotels in Ningbo area and this one is decent. Rooms are big. You can get plenty of bottled waters from the cleaning cart. The breakfast buffet has plenty of varieties! Probably around 30+ different choices. Congee and wonton soup. Coffee and juice.

I passed through Ningbo on a business trip and chose to stay here. Very nice. The front desk staff was very attentive, polite, and reserved a room according to my housing requirements👍🏻 The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, with a great view and very quiet. The breakfast is rich and the ingredients are fresh. The location of the hotel is also very good and travel is very convenient. Five-star rating⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Hotel Service was very Good. The staff were so welcoming. Check in was so smooth. Food at the buffet was great. Amenities provided were top of the. So convenient. So Good So Clean.

Great hotel. I visit Ningbo very often. I stayed at this hotel several times. I try to book a room with a balcony. Cleaning every day, very friendly staff, there is breakfast, there is laundry and a small gym. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, very close to the train station. Not far from the hotel there is a central square where various shops and restaurants are located. Very close to the historical quarter in the colonial style. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Room is small, location is excellent. 100 inch projection is amazing. It is like sleeping in a movie theater, we watched 3 movies for 6 hours. Definitely would stay here again.

Excellent location near to Tianyi Square; very convenient to go to everywhere due to its location and public transporation. The facilities are provided almost the same as other 5 star hotels. A diversity of foods for breakfast, which means a great deal of options to meet everyone's needs and taste. I would certainly choose this hotel once again when visiting Ningbo next time. One more thing: the manager is extremely nice when asked if my room can be changed so that the view of the river can be enjoyed. She did help me to change the room. A very pretty girl.

Well, it's pretty good overall! The room is big enough, the bedroom and the lounge can be separated, and there is a dressing room. We were given a quiet location next to it as requested, which is pretty good! The most satisfactory thing is the bed in the hotel, which is very comfortable, not too soft or too hard, and I slept very comfortably, and the pillows are also good! The location of the hotel is pretty good, not far from the attractions in the city, and the Old Bund is only about 1 kilometer away. After dinner, go for a stroll. If it doesn't rain, it's quite leisurely to blow the river breeze! The lights on both sides of the river are bright, and the scenery at night is really good! Drum Tower, Catholic Church, Moon Lake, you can also walk all the way, they are not very far, and you can almost reach the next attraction after playing one! The hotel sent dinner, which is pretty delicious! The breakfast in the hotel is average, you can eat enough but there are not many varieties, which is a bit different from the meal standard! 🈶 There is room for improvement!

Clean and cozy. Food was fine. Alas, there was no iron in the room and water flow in the shower was not sufficient.

Great hotel with a nice modern rooms! The arrival process was very smooth and the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! The room was spacious with very cozy sofa area. I like the complimentary Chinese tea and the tea set which was in the room. Also the bathroom toiletries was very unique and of a high quality. The location is right next to the culture plaza area and all the shopping and dining area. There is also a nice park next to the hotel. I will definitely recommend this hotel for its great price value, nicely designed rooms and for wonderful hospitality!
