The Surrey hotel just re- opened in October 2024 after an extensive renovation. Everything about it is fantastic. It is in a great upper east side location, the staff is extraordinary and they all strive to exceed any expectation you may have. Noah at the front desk was especially attentive and went above and beyond! The room was comfortable and lovely. Beautiful linens and those extra thick windows that keep out the city noises. I am a Bemelmans fan because I love the decor, feel and vibe. The Surrey lounge is, of course, more modern but equally as intimate, clubby, great decor and equally great vibe! Book a stay - you wont be disappointed. I am definitely a fan and going back!

we came to NYC for long weekend in Winter. we are so pleased that we found and stayed at the Surrey Hotel. fantastic location on upper east. quiet, luxurious rooms. Just a great vibe. Concierge was especially helpful, Carlos has great ideas for dinner reservations. greeting us daily at the door was John, always eager to help us with our plans. very friendly front desk. Will definitely stay here again!

The hotel and Casa Tua are fantastic! Our Suite was beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. Noah and the rest of the welcoming team were helpful and so friendly. The Lounge, restaurant and room service were fantastic-we barely wanted to go anywhere else. We absolutely loved our time at The Surrey!

We had a fabulous stay the new Surrey Hotel in NY. The decor is perfection. The restaurant is top notch, the lounge is happening and has food and is open all day until 2 AM, great room service. Excellent service. Thank you, Noah and John, in particular! We can’t wait to come back.

The room and property are simply gorgeous; the meticulous renovations are evident, and it's clear that no expense was spared. My second stay and a memorable experience it was. The room was impeccably cleaned , a wonderful personalized note, fruits and flowers upon my arrival that little extra touch that goes such a long way in providing the guest with a welcoming feeling. Noah , the front office manager , went above and beyond in ensuring I had a delightful stay at The Surrey , he truly understands the hospitality business and he is an example of the level of professionalism required to run a 5 star hotel .
