The Surrey A Corinthia Hotel

Our clients frequent this hotel. They have always had positive comments about this hotel. The staff here are extremely kind to our team & our drivers. We have only had positive interactions with the doormen and would recommend anyone considering a hotel with a high level of service and attention to detail and have been very professional to work with.

From the moment we arrived we knew this would be special. We have stayed at the corinthia in London but this boutique property is much more intimate. Newly opened the decor is gorgeous but not fussy. Room very comfortable and the quietest room I have ever stayed in NYC ever. Possibly quieter than my own home. The concierge team works magic getting you reservations and recommendations. Casa Tua is the house restaurant and the food is as good as Italy. Lovely European service throughout with attentive door team makes the coming and goings like returning to your own private staff. They also have a house car that when not in use can squire you in comfort to local destinations. This experience reminded me of LaReserve Paris but with an Italian flair instead of French. Gracious staff great linens and towels. Any issue attended to quickly and efficiently. I cannot imagine wanting to stay anywhere else now in NYC Congratulations to the Corinthia team and thank you for an amazing week we cannot wait to return. Your team made being in NYC hassle free and fabulous.

We had a fabulous stay the new Surrey Hotel in NY. The decor is perfection. The restaurant is top notch, the lounge is happening and has food and is open all day until 2 AM, great room service. Excellent service. Thank you, Noah and John, in particular! We can’t wait to come back.

The Surrey is a wonderful hotel in an unbeatable location. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay feels truly special, always attentive, thoughtful, and kind. The front desk team is welcoming and efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant, with a special shout-out to Wasim Naeem for his outstanding service. The concierge team is equally impressive, super helpful with ground transportation and arranging a late check-out when our flight was unexpectedly canceled. From start to finish, every detail is handled with care, creating a truly memorable experience. We can’t wait to be back!

June 2025 Little did I realize what a “fairytale experience” lay ahead of me when I booked my reservation for The Surrey Hotel of NYC in early June. Prior to my arrival, I had a pleasant conversation with Mariah Marciano, guest relations executive, regarding the different amenities, I would be requesting in a room. She was very attentive to my dietary needs, assuring me that a microwave & refrigerator would be placed. Arriving around 8:30 pm at the hotel on the evening of June 10th, exhausted from travel, I was warmly greeted by Wasim Naeem, a front desk manager, who graciously informed me that I had been upgraded to a junior suite! What a nice surprise! Secondly, Wasim said he would do everything he could to give me as late check-out as possible, which he followed through with on the next day!! When I entered the suite, a “personalized” electronic greeting of my name on multiple “tv” screens immediately caught my eye. Right below the screen nestled in a grouping of water bottles was a handwritten “welcome” note with a wax seal from Mariah, the concierge who had been so attentive to my phone requests. Additionally, the room was decorated with individual vases of fresh white roses everywhere, including the bathroom. Later, I was to learn that the entire staff exercised the same commitment to excellence in their delivery service to hotel guests, as Wasim & Mariah had started. A prime example of this was Cameron Coker, a tall handsome blonde bell captain, who not only helped me rearrange and store my luggage until my driver arrived, but graciously went into the restaurant and obtained for me a “delicious-handcrafted” Caesar salad with chicken for my trip home. Then Cameron went the 2nd mile and proceeded to load my luggage into the black suburban when my driver arrived. As I plan my next two trips to New York City this fall, I’m looking forward to another stay in this elegant, sophisticated hotel with a congenial, caring staff…second to none.
