December 17, 2023 I checked into dream hotel. Upon arrival I was greeted by a receptionist and I don’t remember her name but for the most part, she was very pleasant and she was able to accommodate me with an early check in which I appreciated because I was celebrating my birthday. I was made aware that I had a remaining balance that needed to be paid. I was also made aware that there would be $150 incidental placed on my card. I asked the manager Anthony if it was possible for me to pay that incidental hold with Cash,he stated to me that it was not possible. I paid the remaining balance on one card, and I paid the incidental hold on another card. I then inquired about the procedures regarding my $150 incidental hold. The receptionist and made me aware that it will take 5 to 10 business days depending on my financial institution for me to receive my refund of $150 back. Upon check out, I made the concierge aware that I did drink one of the bottles of sparkling water. I asked the concierge if I could pay cash he responded to me that at the time he would comp the bottle of sparkling water because he didn’t have change. My card was charged 12/18/2023 at 6:05 pm for the same charge he said he would comp. I was refunded the $10.89 on December 19,2023 after I called to inquire about the charge. It is now January 3,2024. It has been 13 days business days since the day of check out and I still have no refund regarding the hold. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED.
