Location and facilities are great. Close to the subway station and they have a gym and a place for breakfast.
However, our room had a really strong smell that is coming from the carpet which smelled like bleach covering some vomit or stinky milk. It was so bad the minute you enter the room you can smell it. We tried opening the window for the whole night, the smell’s still here. Tried seek help from the front desk and they said they sent a machine to suck out the air in the room. But when we’re back to the room, it still stinks.
Also, the blanket for the sofa bed seems dirty, it has a lot of stains on it…

Amazing staff… available, kind and professional.
Rooms slightly dated yet generous in space for NYC.. great location for both business in Manhattan or sightseeing.

Cafe inside was a little pricey but ,it is new york. Great area to grab food that is affordable. Next to the police station was a plus felt safe walking in the night. Beds were alright. Walls are not sound proof as the night of new years. I could here the next room partying. Sounded like they were in the same room as us 3am. Other then that had a good time in new york. Rooms are for sleeping room was kept clean by room service

The room was clean and comfortable, and much more spacious than other NYC hotels, and the staff were super friendly. My only minor gripe is that the elipticals did not work in the fitness center. I was later told that is because you have to sign in but that was not at all clear and four of us who tried did not figure it out!

Without my request I was put in a handicap room. I did not need on but appreciated the fact it was on an upper floor. The local weather was extremely cold, and though I had the heat in the room raised to 80 F, the temp in the room never rose above 68 F.
Overall the stay was fine, I would recommend the property…though you probably can get better accommodations for the price in the area.
