Herald Square Hotel

No me gustó. El trato con el huésped pesimo. Casi nos echaron a las 11 cuando en trip figura el check out a las 12. No volveré. Un espanto el trato.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is its location. When I checked in at 3:30 PM, I was told there were no clean towels available but that they would be delivered shortly. I left and came back around 8:30 PM to find there were still no towels. I followed up multiple times and was told they were still waiting on a delivery. This included all types of towels including bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. Towels were never provided at any point during my stay. I went to bed without being able to shower and woke up the next morning to the same situation. I checked out without ever receiving a single towel. This level of service and lack of basic amenities is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning.

THINK TWICE! We had such a bad experience! We pre paid via Booking for 3 nights. We arrived on Sunday evening after a long journey. When we tried to take a shower we discovered there is no hot water. I went down to the reception and they told me they have a problem with hot water and they hope it will be fixed by Monday afternoon. As this was a major problem we checked out immediately and moved to another hotel. On Monday we tried again and again to call the hotel but both phone numbers did not work. We also tried to send them a message via Booking asking if they have hot water but they did not reply to this day so we could not came back. I wrote to Booking asking for refund and they wrote to the hotel but the hotel only offered us refund of 10%! We paid for 3 night and didn't sleep there at all! I wrote to them again and again saying this is unfair because it was their problem but they kept refusing to refund me even for 2 nights. I don't think they were fair at all. Please note: There are construction works outside and inside the building so you may experience problems.
