I stayed here before when it opened. The outdoor bathing equipment was not well maintained or kept clean. The SPA pool was half full and damaged. Many facilities were not open and the swimming pool was not open for swimming. The rooms were well maintained and there was dehumidification everywhere. Fragrant and fragrant, the breakfast is not bad, the service staff have very good attitudes, and the sea view of the hot spring bath is still a selling point.

Breakfast is the favorite of the elders of the porridge and dishes. Father-in-law I have always said that I will come again in the future because breakfast is his love. The counter staff is sincere and friendly, providing information on the surrounding tours, Jinshan Old Street, Yeliu Park, Turtle Hou Fishing Port Seafood Restaurant, etc., and assisting in calling the car and explaining the bus route. Next door is 7-11, which is open 24 hours a day, which is very convenient. The equipment is some years old, but the maintenance is good, clean and tidy, the price is moderate, the accommodation or bathing are very good. A supposedly 4 star hotel that delivers the bare minimum. Nothing to shout about, had an unobjectionable stay here in January this year and was happy with the location and relatively clean room so decided to book again for 5 nights for my recent trip. Regretted my decision as I felt that the service was lackluster. Upon entering the room we saw that the double bed was made up by 2 twin beds unlike our initial experience so we approached the front desk to enquire if a change was possible as we do not like the feel of the gap between the beds and the light switches were behind our pillows making the lights on/off if we were to even lightly lean on the headboard. The answer we got was that we should have indicated that request upon check in and it is a common process for hotels to join 2 twin beds and sell them as a double room. The front desk manager also said the check in rate was 98% that night. We then asked if we could have a change the next day and the reply was to come down and check again tmr. No effort to assist and instead all we felt was him trying the shift the blame to us when all we requested was a double bed when it is available. That left an extremely sour taste in our mouth. The next morning, I woke up with red bites on my arms, legs and torso, however my partner didn't had any so I did not relate it to the cleanliness of the room. The next 2 morning remained to be the same and we requested a change of room which we were given. The itchiness subsided after the change. The staff also passed a cream for itchness to me. But she mentioned it may be mosquito bites which I can tell it isn't as they are in clusters. Location was convenient for us as it is near the banqiao transfer station and there are food choices around the hotel as well as a few family marts.

Have been to Taipei many times and previously been staying near Taipei main station. It was my first stay around Banqiao and first at this hotel. While definitely not as convenient a location relative to the main station, it was still quite a short MRT ride to popular tourist spots like ximending. The room was huge, clean and comfortable. The rooftop swimming pool was also nice and not crowded. All in all an excellent hotel that i would recommend and likely book when i visit Taipei again.

Hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. They do offer underground parking and you will get a token that needs to be check at the lobby counter every time before you head out. We enjoyed the swim pool and it provides nice view of the city.
