Hotel New Taipei City Zhonghe District

Location is not far from Metro and Taipei... Must take taxi to get Metro and then ~25 mins to get downtown 101 area. Hotel WiFi works well at ~ 27-28 Mbps steady and Ethernet port works. Building seems to have a lot of concrete and was hard to find room and areas in room, bwhere I could also use a SIM card hotspot signal that was fast enough (as a back up in event hotel WiFi failed). Surrounding areas, not too much. But business park and Starbucks and Family Mart in North East 5-12 mins walk from hotel. Staff very courteous and helpful. Room very nice. Heaters in each room. Quiet. Windows are think and don't open. Hope this helps others

This hotel has no heating and air-conditioning facilities. It was cold and rainy. The room with the large window was really damp and cold, and even the duvet was in a mess. It’s really not warm when it’s covered with it! Although the customer service staff at the front desk asked for another duvet to be sent over, the two duvets were pressed against my body and were actually quite heavy! In addition, the wardrobe switches in the room make noise (old), but you can put some anti-noise stickers on them to reduce the noise! Moreover, the door opening and closing of the neighbor next door also makes a loud noise, which is a bit of a fly in the ointment! The room is of medium size, and the bathroom and toilet are spacious. You can use a bathtub and a separate shower room. The headlight switch in the room I stayed in was faulty. The hotel is located on the outskirts, next to a residential area. It's a 20-minute walk to the metro, but there are buses. On the other hand, you can get there from the airport by bus in 30 minutes, this is the first stop and 5 minutes on foot. The hotel is very crowded with Japanese tourists and businessmen on business trips. It's clean, quiet, and safe. The rooms are larger and more spacious.

The service and room facilities of Grace are very good, but since the restaurant was moved near the front desk, the variety and quality of the food and beverage environment are obviously not as good as before. So from the cost-effectiveness, it has not attracted me before.

The air conditioner in the room we originally booked suddenly turned out to be not cool before going to bed. The front desk staff immediately upgraded us to a new room without making us wait at all👍

There is no electric boiling kettle.😭 To drink hot water, you have to take the kettle to the negative first floor to pick up water. It’s really not convenient. There are tea, coffee, washing machine, and dryer on the negative first floor. It’s a great luck in misfortune 😆
