Ulasan Renaissance Cairo Mirage City Hotel

The hotel room got the worst view ever. I asked reception to change a better view room for two days. I was told the room are full and let ma wait for two days. No mood to comment on others.

Location is good, good security control, service staff are friendly. Airport shuttle was provided, though I was the only guest when I arrived. I wanted to compliment the driver who picked me up, Ahmed, who was very welcoming and introduced Egypt’s buildings and street on our way to hotel. :) I visited in January, stayed for 2 nights and the weather was cool, my hotel room oversees the outdoor pool. I realized the shower gel and shampoo at the bath tub were empty, and was not topped up during the 2 days. Fortunately there’s backup at the shower area. The housekeeping could be improved. Other than that, my stay was quite present.

My stay at Renaissance Cairo Mirage City was nothing short of amazing. I always, always felt well taken care of by the staff here, and, in particular, I must highlight the staff at the breakfast buffet as I always found them to be so genuinely kind and considerate. The rooms were also quite spacious and the architecture of the hotel reminded me of Paris which I loved. In addition, the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle for airport pick-ups and drop-offs, which is incredibly helpful as I don't think Cairo Airport is the easiest for tourists to get out of with all the people haggling you for a ride.

The staff are untrained, Mr. Moustapha afternoon duty manager was unpleasant and highly rude, The room is basic and dated furniture. The housekeeping just keep an eye on the tips they keep knocking on the door regardless, the do not disturb sign is hanging on the door! It’s a 5 star hotel with 0 star staff! I’m quite shocked to see such behavior of staff especially from the receptionist! The room phone wasn’t working and we made a call from our mobile and she was so upset why we called from the mobile! And couldn’t be bothered to send anyone to fix the issues.. I’m quite appalled to see such downgraded staff!!! I definitely would NOT recommend such hotel. They have us used slippers, used towels, and entered our room while we were not at the hotel. That’s was upsetting and when asked they denied it all..! The staff and managers are sketchy! The managers have the CCTV cameras you should check who has been snooping in the room! As soon as any complaint is made the staff turn a blind eye!!! The treating of foreigners is basic level. Treat others how you wish to be treated..! Thanks.

Wael and Abdo made trip amazing. Concierge team 10/10. Hugely let down by Ahmed GM of front of house who was incredibly rude when asked about Marriott bonvoy benefits on laundry and spa. Started shouting and even swore at me in Arabic to his collegague. He thought I didn’t understand Arabic but I understand both Arabic and Russian. All good though his behaviour will be reported to further boards in the Marriott Group. Kind Regards Adam

All was very good except that a mouse ran across my feet when we were about to have dinner at the garden restaurant!

Very pleasant hotel, it was amazing in everything except you need a car as it is quite far from public transportation

After 13 hours in a plane without hotel reservation it was the first that come over to my trip, I just try it and I don’t regret even one single cent that it cost! Staff extra friendly, always attentive to the kids, just imagine that you flight 13 hours with two kids and then the manager of the hotel give you a free buffet breakfast! Yeah that’s what Mohamed Khattab did!the whole hotel extra clean, the room as they show in the pictures confortable, the pool was amazing…. In general this is a hotel that I’ll recommend to anyone that wants to have a really relaxing family time!

Good hotel

Giving lower rate for the location is just because of the road construction happening there. Otherwise i enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

The surrounding is not so good.
