We have stayed here for two nights ( 3 days ) We all had a great time Staff Nillanka and staff in the kitchen and bar are amazing and very helpful Food was amazing too Live music was on Saturday night Close walk to all the restaurants and beach Convince to everything Thank you guys Jey

I started and ended my Sri Lankan adventure at the Beach Corridor Hotel. I spent 4 nights at the beginning of my trip awaiting the arrival of my far flung friends and then for a few hours on my last day as I had a 2:30 am departure. It’s a great value for one’s money and in a truly convenient location. It’s a short drive from the airport (while the airport is named for Colombo it is actually closer to Negombo) and situated across the street from Negombo Beach. There are numerous shops, restaurants, bars, ATMs, and markets all within a short walk. If/when I return I would not hesitate to stay at this property again. The staff are great and very attentive. The rooms are basic with AC, a refrigerator, and an in room safe. The rooms that I stayed in were exceptionally clean and well kept. There are more expensive options not far from the Beach Corridor but for a mid range option I would not hesitate to recommend staying at the Beach Corridor Hotel.

On arrival and arranging an early mornibg suttle ,reception and staff walked us through the room and associated facilities. Further, the Jumbo Prawn and vegetables recommended by Dilshan was perfect. The room staff assisted and solved the 'power plug ' issue. Further, we were assisted with our very early morning getaway. Overall, all seven or so of the staff we encountered were happy, smiling and alwaying willing to endure we had a great stay. We would certainly recommend this as a starting or finishing place of a Sri Lankan experience.

Had a great stay in this beautiful hotel in negombo Sri Lanka..The rooms were very clean and neat. Also the food is just amazing specially the seafood dishes . The staff is very friendly and kind. Highly recommended.

Looking through the lens of a very much embattled economy, I overlooked a lot of issues with this hotel. It works out to be about $80AUD, which did not seem like value. Bathroom was quite smelly & air-con (even at 18 degrees) underwhelming. All in need of a makeover. Staff were mostly helpful but a little surprised I wanted my room made up. View was amazing from my room- very tranquil. Attached restaurant- Seafood Embassy- made a great cocktail but the crab curry was all shell. I specifically asked about this prior to ordering. When I complained, no offer of discount. Lucky's & Serendib far better food, if you stay in this area.

We loved our 2 nights at this hotel so much that we are coming back at the end of our Sri Lanka trip before we go home, we were here to enjoy the Valentines dinner and it was delightful with a live band all evening, breakfast was great, room perfect and staff amazing. Free shuttle from airport was such a boon too.

The hotel was nice and the rooms were spacious. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was large. The hairdryer didn’t work and we had no hot water for two days. The Wi-Fi was not good. It had limited access so we couldn’t plan on going journey. It would only allow access to social media. Breakfast was lovely. Also the staff were brilliant. Location is good.

This is a tired and worn venue, located on the other side of the road from the beach. The staff is generally friendly and helpful--especially appreciated was when a member of staff, for a reasonable price, took me to the Covid clinic by the airport for my mandatory Covid test to travel home. The price for extending a checkout is reasonable too, but I did have to change rooms, which was a bit inconvenient. The duplex rooms are really odd; you have to go up and down the stairs for everything, including the bathroom. In addition the downstairs room has no windows, making it a bit grim. I suppose there are worse places to stay for a final (or first) night in Sri Lanka but it’s certainly not the best.

We booked this hotel purely for the location, but we imagined it would be quite a way from any bars/restaurants. It was quite the opposite and nearby to them. The room was impeccably clean, modern and spacious. The food and drinks served in the restaurant were of a good standard and very well priced. I think a large Lion beer was 450RS. The bar also has a free pool table. Reception staff were fantastic and even allowed us a late check out and sorted a booking for the spa they offer with free transport there and back too. Overall a great stay and we would use this hotel again if we return to Negombo.
