Hotel Plebiscito Aparthotel

Where do I start?... I've traveled a lot, including international. My work required me to typically fly to a customer on Monday and fly home on Friday for weekly projects just about every week. I had to travel to Louisville, KY for 7 months every week. Traveling for business has its perks, and I understand that Hotel Plebiscito (I'll call them HP for short) is not a Marriott or a Hilton. But there are very basic things needed to make a hotel stay comfortable, none of which this hotel seemed to have. Odor - A hotel room should smell clean and fresh. Our room literally smelled like a sewer. I wasn't sure if it came from the shower drain or toilet. Either way, that's a bad way to begin. Pillows - You would expect them to be fairly fluffy and comfortable. HP didn't have enough for our room and they were very thin. Shower - I can deal with small. But small and with one tiny shelf attached to the shower fixture (meant only for a bar of soap) is just not adequate, especially for a family of 3 or 4 with various shampoos and conditioner bottles. Stick a corner shelf or two in your showers for a few bucks each and it would work better. Towels - HP's towels were thin and rough. Blankets - There were no blankets or comforters in our room. The front desk attendant had to steal them from other empty rooms. We were told that since it is warmer out, most people don't need them. However, when it is hot out, most people want the AC on. Now you might need the comforter to keep your body temp regulated. Plus, some people simply like the extra weight and comfort. Room keys - When you have a family of 3 (my family) or 4 (as was the case with our friends), you NEED more than one room key, especially when it controls the lights. If one person wants to sleep in, but others want to venture out and shop or go sightseeing, they should not need to rely on the front desk to buzz them in the front door, and to get access to the room, because one person stays behind. There is no excuse for this. Simply create more keys or get a system that programs them for you at reception. Just about every hotel in the world does this now. Windows - They should close all the way so that less noise can get in. Our room had no exterior window, but the windows it did have led to an atrium above the lobby. We could hear everything in lobby because it wouldn't shut tight. Hot water - Initially the sink faucet had very low hot water pressure. The next day I found that the valve was almost closed. I fixed this myself by opening it all the way. WiFi - I'm an IT guy. Been in the industry for 35 years. There is no need to name the wireless network (SSID) of each gateway/access point differently. Give them all the same name, and the same password, to make it easier for both your staff and your guests. This is a simple task for any half decent IT guy. Amazing location, with shopping, dining and attractions all near by. This is the perfect spot to explore Naples from. Staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel and rooms were very clean. Bathroom is small and shower is micro - Barry enough space for a very slim person to stand up in. Beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were the worst I have ever had - completely flat and hard. Change the mattress and get some new pillows and this place would be off the charts!! Eat at Donna Sofia across the street - beat pizza and street food. Naples is safe and fun - we had a blast. We walked day and night through the streets, visited back alleys in the Spanish quarter and travelled in and out via the train station - never had a problem anywhere. I would NOT stay close to the train station - it’s definitely a bit grittier and not as central.

We were staying for 6 nights at the hotel. The location, the room, and the staff were the best. We had a very pleasant stay. We had the pleasure of Nishan as a receptionist and he was really skilled, knowledgeable and understanding. Furthermore, the room service was great. Biggest recommendations from here.

great location, reasonable prices. only criticism is that you only get one key per room, we were 4 adults together so its impossible to come home at different times. or you have to come down and let the others in as not manned over night

Abbiamo alloggiato in 3 persone in una camera tripla, ma di positivo troviamo solo il personale alla reception. Servizi igienici vecchi e puzzolenti di umidità e senza finestra alcuna,letti con materassi e cuscini quasi cementificati. Frigorifero non funzionante, wi fi pessimo, e soprattutto grandissima pecca, in 3 persone soltanto una chiave disponibile per accedere alla struttura. Da non rifare!!!!!!!!! G.C.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui una notte di ritorno dalla Sicilia. Avevamo una camera Camera Quadrupla Comfort, ampia, pulitissima e insonorizzata nonostante si affacciasse proprio sopra Via Chiaia. Posizione ottima, a due passi da Piazza Plebiscito, dalla metro e dal parcheggio Morelli con cui hanno un'interessante convenzione. Nella via ci sono parecchi ristoranti, bar e negozi. Un plauso a Nishan, davvero gentile, competente e simpatico! Ci torneremo sicuramente.
