Essential Suite B&B Botanic

The place itself was not too bad, the room was clean and everything looked ok. The bed was relatively comfortable as well. The location is a little bit sketchy, when we first arrived around 10pm on Sunday was decided to walk 25 minutes from the station to the location. On the way, there was a lot of garbage everywhere and felt a little uncomfortable. But we soon learned that the whole city is like that and there is nothing to worry about. The customer service was horrible, we had a ton of issues getting into the unit. Once we arrived we were given a code to open the main door no issue. Once we got upstairs in front of the door there is 4 lockboxes one for every room in the unit. Summary of what happened: - we weee given a code for our box which did not open it. When we messaged her she essentially said we are incompetent and dont know how to open it. - sent her a video of us doing everything correct she told us to force it open (we couldnt) - she still said we dont know what we are doing and offered no help. We kept messaging her asking for a solution - gave us a code for another box we got the key went into the room and it was occupied. She said oops my bad ok go out of there - ended up waiting for an hour - some guy came called her, tried the code and it didnt work. - he forcefully pried it open most likely breaking the box and gave us the keys. - were told in the morning leave the key with receptionist, no one was there Overall customer service -10/10 horrible

The area didn’t feel safe at all. Made us park car outside and we didn’t feel safe to park. So we didn’t end up staying.

Place was great! Just what was offered, convenient location near train and bus stations, offers breakfast and a nice room

This property is not in a nice part of Naples. The surroundings are grimy and uninviting and the property’s locked door and small faded sign are not welcoming. However, the owner communicated easily and quickly on WhatsApp and sent someone to let me in within 10 minutes of me letting her know I had arrived. He was very helpful, showed me around the property and gave me the keys. I had a private room with bathroom which was perfectly clean. The bed had seen better days and was very soft with badly damaged faux leather head board ( peeling ). It is on a main road so is noisy, but I didn’t mind that. I couldn’t find a grocery store nearby, but there are several bars and cafes within a 2 minute walk. There is a bus stop and taxi rank outside the property, so getting to airport was easy. I took No 182 bus which the man who let me in told me about. Very cheap and quick. All in all it was fine for a one night stay prior to an early flight, but I probably wouldn’t want to stay any longer than one night, due to the surrounding area.

Very friendly treatment and you get help whenever from the owner. I stayed in the beautiful suite with spa bath and rain shower, amazing. There is a mini fridge that you can store cold drinks in. There are electrical outlets near the bed so you can charge your mobile phone. Many restaurants and cafés nearby. You can reach the train station in about 15 minutes on foot. Breakfast is taken at a cafe nearby where you can choose from different croissants and coffee or cappuccino. Very nice I would love to come back. New Years Eve stay We stayed over New Year’s Eve. We arrived later than expected, however the host was understanding and communicated with us well upon arrival. The location was nice and had lots of coffee shops around. We really enjoyed the breakfast that the B&B provided at a nearby coffee shop. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom.
