Nanjing Qinhuai District Hotels

Excellent stay in downtown Nanjing. Can't go wrong with this hotel! Great service and facilities. Room is equipped with smart toilet and Nespresso machine. Laundry area & gym at the topmost floor. Free drinks and snacks with bottled water in the room and lobby area. Breakfast is good. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores within the vicinity. Would definitely stay here again, whether in Nanjing or in other cities.

Nice hotel near busy LaoSingMen area; was assigned a room in B1 level with a small window that does not have much light or see anything outside as this is a basement level in a hotel with center court (天井？）； our towels were changed daily, but, there was no cleaning done on a daily basis; bathroom’s sink was clogged with lots of hair inside; we managed to clean up the clogging sink ourselves when we learned this the first night. Hotel is not too far from public bus station, but it is pretty far from the metro station (more than 15 minutes of walking distance); it’s not likely that we will book this place when we visit Nanjing next time.

I stayed in a twin-bed room for two nights in late December. The hotel is very clean, lobby is tastefully decorated and classy, location is convenient as it is just next to a shopping mall, and with many eateries in the vicinity. The room is big and spacious (no smoke smell) and I enjoyed the little details like electric window blinds and clothes line in the bathroom. Reception and housekeeping staff are very friendly and courteous with fast service levels. Concierge staff are knowledgeable and able to provide accurate information on various tourist attractions.

Atour hotel is located in Fuzimiao walking street. It is within 5 mins walk from subway and surrounded by restaurants. The hotel has provided services that I have not experienced before. For example, I placed my clothings into the common washing machine to wash. I went out to have my lunch and I was so surprised that when I returned to the hotel two hours later, the clothings were dried and folded and neatly placed at my room door. I was prepared to go to the laundry room to retrieve my clothings from the washing machine and transfer them to the dryer. The hotel is also offering simple supper at no cost.

This hotel was just excellent in so many ways. The service was efficient, warm and faultless. The breakfast selection was good. The rooms are very clean, high tech and well designed. The aesthetics of the hotel is also charming - well curated art pieces on every floor. Location was ok there are some restaurants and convenience stores nearby and it’s away from the Main Street but still close enough. Highly recommended and would love to try out the other brands under them.

Fantastic location, walking distance to Lao Dong men. The hotel is nicely decorated. Overall happy stay with a few patchy issues. Original room was at the basement with a strange smell l but we were upgraded and new room is much better. Toilet doesn’t seem to have an exhaust and there’s a strange smell. Hotel is very clean but cleaners someone may have missed the bathroom coz shower area seems untouched during cleaning. Service is good. At the same time hotel card had to be re validated during our stay and towels (didn’t provide enough for the number of adults booked) requested at least twice. Small issues. Otherwise value for money hotel. Great location

The service was good and the robot for food delivery was pretty convenient. Nearby got a lot of food options. The location is somewhere in the middle of two train stations. So a bit of a walk. Soundproofing is good also. However, the cleanliness needs to be improved. The toilet bowl seemed clean but when the seat was lifted up, it was very dirty on the bottom. The bedding sheets had small furs adhered (looked like never wash properly:(

This stay was very satisfactory. The proprietress was enthusiastic and helped us carry our luggage to the room. She also told us the way to the surrounding food and scenic spots. The room was nice, with a large terrace to enjoy the scenery. The night view was beautiful. The cruise ship passed by the Qinhuai River downstairs. It was very pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy the night view. The room was clean and comfortable, with good details. There were both disposable slippers and plastic slippers for bathing. The bath water was very strong and hot. The bed was soft and comfortable, spotless. There was no ordinary roll paper in the bathroom. I asked the proprietress for it. She replied that she would use the tissue paper on the bedside table. However, the proprietress soon brought the long roll paper for their own use. The boss gave an extra box of tissue paper. The service attitude was very good. The hotel has a good location. It can be reached by foot from Laomendong Confucius Temple, Zhuque Bridge, Wuyi Lane and Zhonghua Gate. There are many delicious foods around, and you can't eat enough. Nanjing is a city you don't want to leave once you go there. I will choose his hotel next time I go to Nanjing.

Hotel Review: Manxin Hotel, Nanjing My stay at the Manxin Hotel in Nanjing was average overall. While the room was generally fine, there were some noticeable issues. The walls in my room showed damage from moisture, which detracted from the appearance and comfort. Additionally, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell from the unclean drain, and some basic supplies were not replenished during my stay. On a more positive note, the rest of the experience was satisfactory. The breakfast was decent and provided a good start to the day. Despite the drawbacks, the hotel has potential with some improvements to maintenance and housekeeping. Definitely worth mentioning is the great location in Nanjing.

I recommend this place, it’s near/right by Confucius temple and Lao Men Dong. The front receptionist was very helpful and she spoke English. We had to extend our stay and she helped us with it immediately when we asked. The cleaning service was great, the room gets cleaned every day which I appreciate. We get water bottles refilled as well. They also have us bottled tea and soda so that’s a plus. The area is convenient and close to the metro station. One thing I would say is that this place is located at a very busy street so you would hear cars honking from late morning to around 9-10pm at night. There is no air conditioning so be careful during the summer. I like that there’s a separate elevator to the actual hotel rooms so it’s extra security. You would need to come up to the fifth floor and then get out of the elevator and ride another elevator with your keycard to go to your room. Overall it’s a nice hotel!
