We just returned from a ten day driving tour of Scotland. We booked a one night stay at the Cawdor House in Nairn, which turned out to be a great choice. We met two of the three owners, who are so caring and hospitable. The house is immaculate, updated and well-appointed. Our room was charming and comfortable, and they served a lovely breakfast too! Well done, ladies!

We had the most wonderful experience at Cawdor House. We had the privilege of staying in two different rooms while there. We were so comfortable and pleased with our entire stay. Our breakfast was simply delicious. The gracious hostess even made us a lunch to go as we were competing in the 100 mile Rat Race and would need nourishment along the way. The homemade bread was the best I’ve ever had. I know Manuela makes each and every guest feel very special. I will recommend Cawdor House for years to come.

We were so lucky to turn up and take the only room in September that was free and I can see why. Amazing guesthouse, so clean and well thought out down to the last detail. Fantastic service and great breakfast. Would highly recommend you book this and not leave it to chance like we did. You won’t be disappointed!

First night stay. Warm welcome on arrival plus wonderful sunny room. Slept well. Breakfast had plenty to offer and the best coffee. Here until Wednesday. Very central to shops and beach. Shall be my go to place. Will encourage anyone to try out.

We had booked 4 rooms for a night's stay, the rooms were clean, neat and well thought out. The family room was spacious and airy. Though the twin room and the double rooms were slightly cramped, the well thought out small touches like cookies, still water and sparkling water, gracious hosts at check in, parking availability right outside and the cozy rooms made up for it. Cawdor cafe is a well known one, we were so grateful for they prepared us eggless scones on request and we were very thankful for the kind gesture. They served us quite a yummy breakfast which we savoured in the morning. All in all it was a great stay! We hope to return back to this beautiful, quaint stay in Nairn! It's just a short & beautiful drive from Inverness..

Great bed and breakfast. 5 Minutes to the railway station. 10 Minutes to Inverness Airport, 20 minutes to Inverness by train. Great breakfast with fresh bread and the best coffee in Scotland. Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds. The cafe serves real German cake.

Charming hotel in a great location. Great place to stay when visiting the fabulous Cawdor Castle. The room was lovely and breakfast was delicious. We were having trouble finding any Highland Cows to see but the owner Kristin told us where to find them and we were delighted!

Everything about our stay was so lovely. The hosts were so kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The room was really nice and beds were super comfortable and there were also lovely amenities. Breakfast and the coffee was also superb!

Visited cafe for coffee tea lemonade and cakes including delicious apple and cinnamon and German cheesecake.Delighted to see the cafe open again ,having been a favourite under previous ownership.The new owners have continued the high quality cakes and refreshments.Situated just a few minutes from the railway station in a pleasant street with bees busy among the lavender.Delightful.
