Ulasan Smugglers Cove Beach Resort & Hotel

I stayed in the female dorm and thought it was great! Had a peaceful nights sleep both nights I was there. It seemed pretty clean to me. The bathroom facilities were fine. Unfortunately, after having a “fresh fruit smoothie” (fresh fruit is questionable.. it was a white milkshake by the looks of things, see pics) I was violently ill and spent the rest of my time at Smugglers in my bed. I thought the bar/grill was a bit expensive for what you got, I had a deckhands breakfast and I was still hungry afterwards (see pics). Also the pool is quite small and it’s right in the middle of all the tables chairs, I didn’t see anyone swimming in there ever. There also isn’t much of a beach. The majority of the staff were super friendly and helpful!! Especially the ones at reception. There is a desk for booking a wide range of excursions, I didn’t book any though but heard from other guests that they enjoyed them.

Garden view room is looking straight to other hotel windows. TV has a wifi but couldn’t connect! So we could not use YouTube or Netflix. At first TV channels worked bad (look pictures). Also I found a small cockroach in my bed! The location is great, a lot of restaurants and shops in walking distance. The hotel has atm (BSP), bar and small swimming pool. There no shadow for sun loungers. The hotel could not dry our clothes. I recommend to consider neighbour hotels - Ramada Suites (the has dryers and washers in the rooms) or BulaBard.

Last review! Stayed here for 6 nights total. Left only because I pre-booked an Airbnb close to the airport. I wish I had stayed longer. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the girls dorm. The only recommendation I have is to bring earplugs just in case the mixed dorm gets full as it can be noisy. Showering and aircon facilities are a huge plus. They made the stay super comfortable. The pool is nice, the beach itself isn't worth swimming in though. There was no bedbugs!! Enjoy your stay.

Great location. Thoroughly enjoyed the show at night. The rooms had everything I needed for a night’s stay. The staff were also extremely helpful.

i absolutely loved my stay at smugglers. it’s got great location right on the beach, friendly staff who can’t do enough to help, and only a 5 minute taxi into town

Hotel is OK/average, but locatiom is great and service is very friendly.

They said us they provide free transport from airport to the resort. The lady in reception charged us $30 per person. She refused to give us receipt neither with make things even more suspicious. It is possibly a scam or the receptionist gets low pay and wants more money from tourist. The boss shall check the CCTV on that day then you can see how unbelievable it is.
