Really enjoyed the safaris and calm atmosphere of the resort. Food was also good and tasty. Bar area is too small. Staffs are excellent. Spa experience was nice. Special mention for Mr Chamraj and Mr Mahesh. Chef Ramakanth is great. Nice stay

First visit to a Serai resort, and I must say that we were thoroughly impressed! Right from the rooms, cleanliness, amenities, location and nature surrounding of the resort, the quality and taste of the food, and most importantly, the service and the friendliness of the staff, it's all very wonderful, and made our Anniversary 2-night stay an absolute pleasure! The waterfront villas are very nice, and you can enjoy a very picturesque view from your hammock or the balcony while sipping on some tea! They also provide hassle-free booking for safaris, and have many activities which adults & children can enjoy. We got a unexpected surprise anniversary cake the night before our check-out, compliments of the resort, and that just goes to show that the staff and resort will go to all lengths to ensure you have an awesome vacation at The Serai, Kabini!

Our recent stay Serai Kabini was excellent !!! Rooms are charming and located right on waterfront and one can see beautiful birds and hear melodious bird song right from the rooms. Very comfortably sized rooms, beautiful glass skylight in the washroom , amenities well stocked and first time we got several savoury and sweet goodies and juices all complimentary in our rooms! Staff is extremely attentive and very courteous. Food is excellent especially the breakfast spread and the South Indian specialities in the a la cart menus. Chef was so helpful and gracious to suggest a special off the menu item Benarasi Bedmi Puri sabji for us! The Dosa at breakfast was to die for ; amazing taste! Safaris were arranged very smoothly . Enjoyed our free coraical ride. Naturalist Mr Shekhar showed us many birds during the Nature walk in the property and during boat safari and jeep safari. Enjoyed using the hammock ; reading books from the library and the beautiful ambience of the property , greenery and landscaping . Food pricing for meals was also quite reasonable . Would recommend this resort to everyone ! !!

An amazing experience!! Excellent chance to see Tigers and Elephants, deer, sambhar leopards crocodiles etc and various unusual birds .. the Serai is very comfortable and food is very good. I would advise the boat safari in the evening and jeep safari early morning.. try and get the Safari guides Shekhar and Raju!!! They are excellent trackers with amazing knowledge of flora and fauna ..

We have now lost count of the no of visits to Serai property since our first visit in 2019. Yet each time we have come back super recharged and refreshed and the yearning to get back is stronger than ever.the staff there in kabini & Bandipur is more like an extension of our fly. They know all our likes and dislikes after all these visits. A BiG SHOUT out to the Resort Manager Mr Thammaiah who is a more a friend than a manager. His attention to details during our visits from the beginning has been spot on. Also Mr salim front office manager needs a mention for his efficiency and Head Chef Mr.Ramakanth for feeding us with some of his signature dishes with so much passion.Truly great memories that make us keep going back for more…The icing on the cake was definitely spotting the majestic TIGER during our safari which has been elusive all these years.

This is a lovely resort, with friendly staff. The best thing is the landscaping of the grounds, which are very pleasant, and being in nature. The entrance to Nagarhole wildlife park is very close by and the resort organised a jeep safari for us at short notice. The rooms are very comfortable, with good AC. We stayed in a waterfront villa which had a backwater-facing verandah and a hammock. You can borrow bikes to ride around and there are boat trips, although we didn’t try this. Kids can also play badminton, table tennis, table football and the resort feels very child friendly. The food is overall inexpensive by European standards (with the exception of imported drinks) and good quality and range. We had some minor niggles around availability of drinks and the rug in our room needed cleaning, but nothing major. As one other reviewer said, it’s quite a feat to run this quality of resort, which is on a nature reserve owned by the government, and with the local infrastructure being limited (there are regular power cuts of a few seconds). We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Serai Kabini. The resort had all the amenities. Of course what differentiates it from other stacked resorts is the personalized service. The staff always ensured that we had what we needed. We were scammed out of a safari trip; the hotel staff not only yelled at the scammer but also ensured that we were able to get on safari on short notice. Even food that was not on the menu was suggested and prepared for us. Their reservation communications might be lacking but their onsite attention to care was extraordinary and made up for all else. We would like to recognise Mr.Saleem for constantly ensuring that we had a great stay. We did.

My Trip to The Serai Kabini was an experience which I will cherish throughout my life. The food at the Wildgrass Restaurant was delicious and the staff at the Restaurant were very kind. Mr. Saleem at the Reception was a very kind, friendly and helpful person. The Room was comfortable and the washroom was huge, and the Jacuzzi was spacious and luxurious. The Resort is vast and the view from the room overlooking The Kabini River was just mesmerizing and breathtaking. The Staff at the Resort were very hospitable, friendly, welcoming and professional. To Sum it up, this resort is an absolute Paradise and it is the best resort I’ve ever been to.
