"We recently stayed at The Serai Kabini for our anniversary celebration, and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, the entire experience was warm, peaceful, and beautifully managed. A special appreciation to Mr. Saleem Mr.Praveen and his team for organizing everything so well and making our anniversary truly memorable. The hospitality throughout the resort was exceptional, and every staff member was courteous, attentive, and always presentable. The housekeeping team did an excellent job maintaining the room and surroundings perfectly throughout our stay. The buggy service was always on time and very convenient, especially while traveling around the property with our 18-month-old daughter. The spa experience was wonderful and deeply relaxing. We also enjoyed the boating activity, and the boat driver was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant staff Mr. Rakesh Mr. Mithun and chefs deserve special mention for their outstanding service and delicious food. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Dining by the serene surroundings made the experience even more special. Another thing that stood out was how beautifully the property is maintained. The gardeners have done an amazing job keeping the resort lush, clean, and scenic, which added so much charm to the entire stay. Most importantly, our little daughter enjoyed the trip so much, which made the vacation even more memorable for us as a family. Overall, this was a perfect anniversary getaway filled with relaxation, great hospitality, excellent food, and unforgettable memories. "My stay at Jal Mahal Resort was deeply disappointing. Upon waking up, I discovered rat droppings in the room, which is completely unacceptable for any accommodation. Additionally, the housekeeping services were inadequate and did not meet basic standards of cleanliness and efficiency. The behavior of the hotel staff was also troubling, as they were consistently rude and disrespectful throughout our stay. Furthermore, the resort’s policy of demanding full payment on the day of check-in felt unreasonable and added to the overall negative experience. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this resort based on my visit."

"Super Staff, lovely hot jacuzzi in private courtyard under a starry sky, amazing variety of excellent food, enthusiastic naturalist guides, activities if you want them, and absolutely no plastic litter lying around, what bliss. Big, clean pool in the jungle. Exotic plants, butterflies, birds galore. Care for the environment and local community. Despite the Safaris being cancelled by the government, it was a fantastic stay."

"The resort is large with individual cottages and dorm rooms (8-20 people multiple dorms). It has decent size swimming pool, rope/indoor activities, rain dance, bonfire, bar and restaurant. There is also a free river cruise in the evening with hot Bajjis, coffee/tea right on 50 people capacity boat. The food is huge spread with freshly prepared Dosas, omelette, Rotis, Obbatu (pooran poli), Jelabis right at time of breakfast/lunch/dinner. Good for family gatherings, ladies/ guys trip."

Considering the cost, the amenities and services fell short of expectations. *Food and Beverages* The food was homely but extremely basic, with limited vegetarian options. On one occasion, the only vegetable served was beetroot, with no alternative. Portion sizes were small, and there were frequent shortages. The staff's response to these issues was lackluster, with a repetitive "sorry" being the only acknowledgment. *Property and Location* The property's location was unimpressive, situated near a village with narrow access roads. The premises were under construction, with incomplete amenities like swings, decorations, and a swimming pool. The lack of lighting at night was alarming, and the presence of a snake on the property was a serious concern. It seemed that the owner prioritized cost-cutting over guest safety and security. *Amenities and Services* The kitchen staff was inadequate, leading to delays and unfulfilled requests. We had to ask multiple times for a simple lemon. The food menu was monotonous, with only a few starters being noteworthy. The washrooms were equipped with basic luxuries, but the supplies were not replenished during room cleaning, regardless of the number of guests. *Value for Money* Overall, our stay felt like a basic village experience worth ₹4-5k, not more. The property failed to justify its cost, leaving us disappointed and underwhelmed."
