A top drawer experience. A few of our favourite things: the lush gardens in between the buildings, spacious rooms with comfy bedding and a decent sized balcony, buffet food that was such top quality with tremendous variety it far exceeded our expectations, wonderful pools, particularly loved the view from the rooftop bar, amazing beach, grand location next to a nature reserve which we walked through twice, high quality entertainment-especially loved the ABBA show. The service was above and beyond on all counts. We accidentally spilled water on the bed and late in the evening housekeeping came and reset the bedding. Particular special mention to Victoria on reception so professional and knowledgable, Tolo in the Martinete restaurant who gave great service and wonderful recommendations for our first Spanish restaurant experience. Also special thanks to Eilidh Marshall in sales who introduced to the Iberostar experience. We look forward to staying at other Iberostar properties.

We have just come back from our first family holiday and am already looking to book again for next year.  My son is 8 years old and is autistic so was a bit nervous taking him abroad for the first time. The holiday couldn't have been any better.  We arrived early 13.00 and the first thing I have to say is the smell when u walk in is so fresh. The reception is big and open and just has a really upmarket feel to it. The room wasn't ready so we put our luggage in the hold got some swimming stuff on and headed straight for the pool, as soon as the room was ready we got a call from reception.  We stayed in room 3301 which is in the reception area. My son stayed in the bedroom which was great as it had no access to a balcony (just a window u could not open. Again this gave us peace of mind he wouldn't escape in the middle of the night.  We ended up sleeping on the sofa bed which was very comfortable. The room was very modern as was the bathroom.  The only downside to the room was at night if kids were in reception crying or shouting it really echoes and u could hear everything in the room. It didn't wake my son up but it woke us up a few times.  Also there is a sensor that detects when u are in the room so if u want charge any devices while u are out it won't work. On a plus note your key card is on your bracelet so means u don't need to worry about forgetting your key  The food and drink was exceptional. Gin was Bombay and the rum was Havana so big thumbs up to that. They have a cocktail list u can choose from but can ask for other stuff that isn't on there. I had a few espresso martinis Lager is mahou which just takes likes any other generic lager. Nice and refreshing. They do hand out Coronas sometimes near the pool.  We didn't book any restaurants as my son was happy at the buffet.  The highlight for me was the roof top with amazing views and a chilled out vibe.  My son loved the bouncy ball in the pool spent many an hour on there. Also the mat they rolled out in the afternoon u could run along. His favourite night was the Disney frozen show. The night time entertainment was on a bit too late for him though as he struggled to stay awake for them. Lots of brilliant stuff on though  This has definitely been the best hotel I've stayed at with it's location right on the beach the excellent food and drink and the overall cleanliness of the place with amazing staff We all can't wait to come back and visit again  Thanks Lee 

This was our third stay at this location, but our first stay at Albufera Park. Previously we stayed at Albufer Playa. The Albufera Park and Albufera Playa are combined and thus makes a big resort with several pools and restaurants. I will start with some recommendations: - Download the Iberostar app before you leave home and get familiarized with the hotel. - As soon as you checked in, book table at some of the theme restaurants. They are very popular and difficult to get a table at. - The entertainment is great, especially at nighttime. - Send the kids to the activities for kids. They are good. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. The service at the hotel is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is good and there is always plenty to choose from. This is all-inclusive, but the standard is high and there is never an empty tray. Although we had a hired car, we did hardly leave the resort. It was just too nice :). The room was really nice. It was for 4 persons and plenty of space including a terraces. All in all this comes down to the great staff working here. They are so friendly and helpful and you fell so welcome.

I had my reservations about Mallorca imagining it to be full of drunken/loud people. There were some but I came back with a warm heart from the local people’s niceness, friendliness and openness. And grew fondness for this special island. What worked really well: Top customer service: First night we slept badly as we faced the animated area and we have young children who wake up early. Not a great combination! Reception listened to us and explained for a small increase we can change rooms, we did and the room was perfect. Range of family friendly and fun activities for all ages Variety of pools. Nearby beach. We could eat in any of the restaurants provided you pre booked. Personnel (Reception , Cleaners, waiting staff, entertainers) all super approachable and helpful for example we needed the bed sheets changed due to an accident by our young one - this was done quickly and with a smile. Immense variety of food at the main Restaurant. The Chefs were absolutely amazing. Mauricio and Chef’s photo below whose name I didn’t catch get special mention, particularly for their dedication to be accommodating for special diets. One of our children has multiple allergies and I am lactose intolerant and everyday I spoke to the chef on duty and either a fresh dish minus relevant allergens was made and/or we went around the massive buffets and the Chef on duty showed me what was safe. The Chefs, kitchen and waiting staff work super hard are efficient and are the soul of the place. I would have given the hotel a 5 rating but my reticence is due to the inaccurate display or labelling of allergens. This was confirmed to be in the restaurant when something showed it was dairy free but I could se cream. I mentioned this to the Hotel Management that it would be better to not have allergens displayed and simply put “ Inquire about allergens” signs but this wasn’t done. We pre-warned the hotel ahead of our stay about our situation and I am vocal enough to question ingredients. However I appreciate that not everyone may feel comfortable to question the displayed allergens es specially if they don’t speak the local language. And that creates a risk as someone with a severe allergy may trust the wrongly -labelled allergens. But overall- highly recommended destination particularly for families with young children in May.

Lady at reception should have got her name so nice and helpful went beyond to check us in, wish some of the others was present and lovely, Room amazing beds comfy lots of space pool view, maid was amazing and lovely, when she had 2 days off the other maid not as great with cleaning, Overview of hotel amazing massive kids loved the pools beach so close, rooftop was amazing, Restaurant a variety of food Italian chef made sure kids had something they liked if didn't he bought them food out what they liked that was amazing, the drinks on arrival for dinner was amazing, the last 2 days no theme and was not a lot to choose from, wanted to ask but didn't get round to why restaurant didn't have theme and no drinks on arrival, Apart from that would definitely go to this hotel and recommend it, Also forgot to say the pool guy went beyond to get us an umbrella as had a few arguments with the Dutch to taking my towels off and having the beds for themselves as their all the same colour towels their should be some system as it disgusting people leave towels down all day and not even use the beds,

The Iberostar website doesn't do the hotel justice. We stayed from 4th to 14th June 2024 in room 2107, which was a premium family room with garden view. It overlooks the garden and trampoline just outside of reception. We travelled as a family with a 3.5 year old. Would come back again. Its worth nothing that hotel is a shared complex of 3 buildings, comprising of both Albufera Park and Albufera Playa. They share the same facilities, its just Albufera Park is closer to water park and play activities, whilst Albufera Playa has the normal pool and hot hub closer. Your choice of room is likely to have an important impact on your enjoyment based on what matters to you given the range of onsite amenities. Do you want to by directly outside the park/water bucket/splash park, or do you want a short walk. Our son is autistic, and having him in close proximity but not directly outside them was great. Firstly, the NFC wristbands that give you access to your room is a game changer. Everyone should do this. The fact I can just walk out and go to the beach in just my swimming gear then back to the room and swipe in without a key I could have lost is a freeing experience. Add to the fact, everyone has a band there is no need to keep swapping keys between family members so they can go to the room. The room is good, split between parents and children, where children have dedicated area in the living room. Plenty of space, although more coat hangers or drawers in the parents bedroom would have been useful. Balcony has 2 chairs and table, and area to dry clothes. The bathroom is good, great shower, powerful and warm water. There are multiple parks, one just outside the hotel and another alongside the side of the hotel, directly accessible from floor 1 rooms B1 block on that side. There is a splash park with water buckets next to the park. On to the main pools, there are 4, one with an inflatable dome that can be climbed, 2 more shallow pools with a small and big water slide, and finally the main pool that is about 7ft deep at the max, but all entry points are swallow so safe for kids. The main pool had a range of activities on different days like slides, floating mats, foam party's. You can of course access the 3 normal pools located at Albufera Playa which is a 1 minute walk away if you want something quieter. To add to this, there are also infinity pools located on the roof which are accessible by stairs or elevator. Access to the beach is easy, less an a minute walk you can get into the sea, and with rooms close to the beach access you can there from your room very quickly depending on your room choice. Wi-fi availability is good, 130Mbps download, you can even just about get it on the beach next to the life guard tower. The food was in my opinion average, fine for the price paid, its not a criticism given most hotels I have stayed at can cost almost 50% more (Maldives, Mauritius, Galapagos islands) so it is what I had expected. We just returned from the most amazing break at Iberostar Albufera Park. Hotel/room The hotel is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. Our room was very spacious and comfortable for a family of four. We requested a travel cot as we had a toddler with us and were able to use this in the lounge area as there are blackout curtains in every room. Food We enjoyed the food - very fresh and tasty food. I highly recommend visiting Tamarin for lunch. Children’s options are usually chips, nuggets, burgers etc. but the food for ‘adults’ is fine to share with them too! We were fortunate enough to secure a booking at the Greek restaurant which was lovely - it was impossible to get something via the app as it appeared fully booked but we emailed reception who were very helpful! Good snacks available throughout the day and staff were accommodating in providing milk for my toddler. My only criticism is that it would be nice to have plastic plates/cutlery because my toddler throws food around a lot - like many toddlers do! Entertainment Outstanding for my 4 (almost 5) year old and 18 month old. Full agendas of fun stuff: foam party, games etc. My 4yo loved the kids club ‘Star Camp’. The staff are very bubbly and welcoming. They also put on excellent evening entertainment e.g. outdoor cinema, disco, shows. I understand the hotel are working towards improving their offering for toddlers - the sensory and messy play was brilliant and my toddler enjoyed it. The lady who was facilitating the activity was very experienced and my toddler took an instant liking to her! We also managed to join in with the daily quizzes and the football (which they hosted really well!). Swimming Amazing - very clean, loved the slides and especially enjoyed the baby pool as it meant my toddler could enjoy swimming too. We also visited the rooftop pool which is lovely for the views and the experience. It’s also lovely that staff walk around offering drinks and ice cream. The sun loungers do get busy, but we were able to find a spot every day even though we ventured out quite late. Location The beach is within walking distance and is clean and pleasant! There is also a small park outside (although the one on site is better) and a supermarket. Staff at the supermarket were a bit grumpy/rude but there are plenty of snacks and other holiday essentials (hats, sun creams, pool floats, flip flops etc). They were a bit reluctant to blow up our floats we’d bought from home - perhaps the hotel could look into providing this facility going forward? Overall it was an incredible holiday and very well catered to everyone - families with young kids like myself and those who are travelling without kids too! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. I hope to visit again in the future!

Cleanest hotel Iv ever visited and food was great. What more could you ask for. Rooms beautiful and great for families. Entertainment was entertaining. The kids loved it. Pools are huge with more the enough space for everyone although the towel placing is annoying. This is not the hotels fault it’s the guests. More variety of pool games would have been good. There’s only so much pool carpet you can take. If you have extra suitcase weight take your inflatables with you as the shops will sting you. Staff were so helpful I saw them tackling a lot of problems from picky people extremely well. Supermarkets are only over the road but walk down more the first ones prices are high as they know you will go there. You have access to all facilities in the hotel next door. The beach is a stone throw which is ideal and the sea is crystal clear. The only thing I could moan about is the distance from the airport, if you have small children and silly timed flights. I wish it was closer to Palma airport but you have the benefits of it not being so busy. All in all we have the best most relaxing/ fun filled 2024 holiday! We’ve just got back from a week at this resort and really loved our time there. The place is so beautiful, clean and the staff are fantastic. Our daughter went to star camp for the first time as she’s just turned 4, she loved the variety and the helpers who were super friendly. I would recommend for families with younger children (6 and under), so much to do and perfect location next to a lovely gentle beach. Only downsides for us… our meal at the Spanish restaurant which was a bit slow (we didn’t manage to book the other restaurants) and the business / noise around the poolside, however there are plenty of quiet areas if you need some space (roof pool was fantastic). All in all 5* holiday and we loved it, thank you so much Iberostar Albufera Park!

Just returned from a week here. It ticked every box! The resort is right on the beach, there are two walkways onto the beach. The beach is glorious, clear blue sea and lovely sand. The hotel is perfect for families. The staff work so hard to make sure there is something happening at all times for both children and adults to enjoy. From a foam party to morning yoga. They really do try and ensure there is something for everyone. Check in was easy and quick. Our room was spotless with plenty of space for our family of four. Only downside was the pillows, they aren’t comfortable, so if you like a particular type take your own. Lol. The buffet restaurant has so much choice and again something for everyone. We have members with nut allergies, mostly this is easily seen on the labels. In the separate restaurants (Greek, Spanish and Mexican) it wasn’t so easily figured out. Highly recommend the Greek restaurant, it was our favourite by far and could have eaten there every night. Make sure to book your reservations when you first get there. There is a spa which I went for a massage, it was ok. Nothing spectacular but the staff are helpful and friendly. Again everything is spotless. The pools are great and are cleaned daily. The ground staff work very hard each morning and throughout the day. The hotel tried not to waste anything and I loved its green ethos. There are kids clubs, my children didn’t use them as they were kept busy enough around the pool but it seemed popular. Evening entertainment was better than other places we have stayed on the island. Especially the Disney show, everyone loved it. I can’t applause the staff enough for what long hours they do to keep everyone happy. Special shout out to Rori from the entertainment team, my girls fell in love with her friendly nature. Thanks for a great week. We hope to be back next year

We stayed at the Iberostar Selection Albufera Park for a week – my wife, our eight-year-old daughter, and I. Overall, our experience was nice, though the weather was not always on our side. **Location and Surroundings** The hotel's location is quite good. It is near a beautiful nature reserve and a well-conserved beach, which made for some lovely surroundings. The park nearby was also a pleasant addition to our stay. **Rooms** The rooms were nice and of a decent size – not too big, not too small. The bathrooms were also satisfactory. The showers were excellent, with consistently hot water and a nice rain shower. However, the room temperature was an issue, as it was a bit too hot all the time. **Dining** - **Terral and Mistral (Buffet Restaurants)**: The buffet restaurants were disappointing. The food was often cold and repetitive, and the restaurants were quite full, making the dining experience less enjoyable. - **Kyknos (Greek Restaurant)**: This was the standout restaurant. We were able to sit inside away from the loud bar area. The food was extraordinary, and the service was slow and paced, allowing for a pleasant dining experience. - **Nopal (Mexican Restaurant)**: The dining experience here was not great. We had to order all courses at once, leading to food piling up on our small table and getting cold. The noise level was high, and the margaritas were terrible. - **Martinete (Spanish Restaurant)**: The food was good but lacked some basic Spanish specialties. The service was extremely slow, with long waits between courses, which made it feel like we were forgotten. - **Tamarindos (Beach Grill & Buffet)**: Unfortunately, this restaurant was closed during our stay. - **Star Cafe**: The only place to get food between main meals, it was always crowded. The limited menu and long lines were a downside. - **Icedream (Ice Cream Parlour)**: The ice cream was nice, and the service was quick, making it a pleasant experience. **Children’s Activities** Our daughter had a good time with the children's activities. She enjoyed the company of the animators, particularly Mario, who was amazing and made her experience fun. **Entertainment** The evening entertainment at 10 PM was always fun but felt compulsory due to the noise level, which made it difficult to sleep at that time. However, it was still enjoyable. **Sports and Wellness Facilities** We used the spa and I went running outside. The spa was okay; I had a good massage, although my wife was less impressed with her foot treatment. Running outside was great, thanks to the beautiful reserve, which provided a lovely environment for my runs. **Service and Staff** The service and staff were exceptional. Everyone was genuinely friendly, authentic, and willing to help. Their cordiality and professionalism were highlights of our stay. **Wi-Fi** The Wi-Fi was really good, and we always had reliable internet access. **Improvements** One area that could use improvement is the food. Great hotel. Clean, friendly staff, excellent food, there was so much good food to chose from, we were spoiled for choice. Beautiful beach next to the hotel. even the evening entertainment was good. I would highly recommend it. We did the yoga class while we were there and the aqua Zumba which we enjoyed every day. Such a lot of fun.

Great hotel, special mention to Kurt on check in. Tolo in Spanish restaurant. Both super helpful and of course Sergio front of house. But all staff smiling and helpful. Only 4 stars due to the challenge of getting reservations in restaurants. Hotel clean and well appointed

We booked two rooms for our family, which included our young children and my pregnant wife. What began as a pleasant and relaxing vacation with a few hiccups along the way took an unfortunate turn on the last evening of our stay, culminating in an experience that left us feeling disrespected and mistreated. On the last night of our vacation, we had a reservation at their Greek restaurant Kyknos. After being seated at 20:00, we ordered our food, and after a short wait, we were served bread, spreads, and a salad as expected. However, after that, we waited almost an hour without receiving the rest of our order. During this time, our waitress came to check up on us and asked if we needed anything, and we said we were waiting for our food, and she walked away. By the time we followed up with the waitress around 21:30 PM, everyone was very hungry and my young children were increasingly restless. We were shocked when, after further delays, we were told that the kitchen had closed and that our food had supposedly been served—this was not true and was a mistake on their part. To make matters worse, instead of addressing the mistake, the staff brought out leftover dishes from the buffet without any communication, understanding of our needs, or consideration of dietary restrictions. After voicing our dissatisfaction again, they brought out a few items they could gather that fit our dietary restrictions. What compounded our frustration was the disrespectful treatment we received from the hotel management. I asked to speak with a manager, and I was told that I would be contacted the following morning. The next day, we had a conversation with the assistant manager. Instead of approaching the situation with empathy, she treated us with suspicion and condescension, implying that we were being dishonest by stating she would need to check video cameras to "confirm" our story and get back to us. Her demeanor was accusatory and dismissive, and after over two months we never received a follow-up from her.
