Ramee Techome

When i stay alone in this hotel is great - this time i had a couple of friends living in a suite and wasn’t so happy with the service. I asked for pillows with extra bed - they weren’t able to provide me - i ordered food from the restaurant downstairs via room service - it never came to my room. The service as well was very slow this time. Overall i did not have the worse stay but these things do make a customer happy.

Great hotel with excellent facilities. Good level of security professional helpful reception staff. The breakfast buffet is good and the restaurant serves delicious Indian dishes. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable pocket sprung beds. The air co works perfectly. The bathroom in the studio rooms has a double jacuzzi bath and shower. There is a living room with a good size sofa bed and a well equipped kitchen. The kitchen has a washing machine and full size fridge. The swimming pool is great and well staffed . It has a large jacuzzi and changing rooms and showers. The fitness centre is fantastic it has lots of quality machines and free weights. There is also a sauna and steam room. All in all the Ramme Techome is a well equipped comfortable clean hotel in a convenient location.

The hotel is *very* different than what’s pictured — I made the mistake of trusting the hotel’s provided pictures of the room — my photos attached show the actual room you may be given. The room was actually extremely dirty when I came in — the sofa had tons of stains on it (see picture), some of the towels they gave new had stains, ***** with the jacuzzi itself. The main reason I picked this hotel was for the jacuzzi - imagining I could relax after a long day of exploring the city. Unfortunately when I turned the jacuzzi on, about 15 minutes in, there was a nasty sewage smell that came that made me suspect the water was unclean so I just drained the tub. Additionally, I was there for one of the days the housekeeping came to clean the room. The *** was sick / had a cold and constantly sniffling. He didn’t wash his hands at any point and rubbed his hands all over the bed without washing them while making the bed. I think this contributed to me falling sick shortly later. Overall an extremely disappointing experience from a cleanliness perspective. Service wise, it gets even worse. Initially they put me into a smoking — I explained the importance of moving me to a non-smoking diet to headaches from smelling second hand smoke. They were dismissive of my request and overall provided really poor customer service. It took them 2 days to actually move me and one of the people, a larger *** (Tashark?) tried dissuading me saying rooms above had a lot of construction and were not extremely loud. When they did move me, one of the service men accused me of stealing a bowl and that became a 20 minute ordeal explaining I didn’t take a bowl) — overall just a terrible customer experience and I ended up checking out 2 days early. As a business owner myself, whenever one of my customers has a bad experience, I remedy it as soon as I can, and provide them some sort of consolation - a couple free sessions, a gift, etc. I asked for some sort of consolation for my stay but to this date none has been offered. I left 2 days early - the least they could do is refund me for those 2 unused days of my stay. If they did I would consider changing my review. This hotel was filthy, had service people that really didn’t care about helping you, and also is absolutely not worth $75/night. I booked this because of the jacuzzi - there’s a chance you’ll get a gross sewage smell like me and won’t use it. Honestly, if you want a fancy hotel experience, forget the jacuzzi and absolutely go somewhere else.

Pictures do not lie. The best part was the warmth of the staff. The food was up to the mark and ticked all the boxes . The pricing to portion size was to the T. Have to appreciate the cleanliness !!! 10/10 . Should improve on the toiletries quality and quantity … but not a deal breaker. Good experience, very clean and well put together hotel. Only issue I encountered is no commercial food is allowed from outside, which makes things difficult as working long hours I could only use the room service, which does have a good overall menu however does not always cater to international guests. And the hotel did not have travel adapters available. But all considered very good
