Останавливались на одну ночь перед круизом.
Отель уставший, но уютный. Окна выходили на соседнее здание, поэтому было тихо. Смогли выспаться после бессонной ночи накануне из-за перелёта. В ванной есть зубной набор, в комнате - чайный набор и вода.
Завтрак непривычный, но можно выбрать что-то подходящее.
Всё, что было дешевле на момент бронирования по фото выглядело значительно печальнее.
Очень удобное расположение. Обошли всё достопримечательности пешком, рядом станция Черчгейт, откуда можно доехать до прачечной Дхоби-Гат и трущоб Дхарави.
Не понравилось только, что при входе у нас чуть ли не вырвали чемоданы и рук, чтобы отнести до номера, хотя мы сопротивлялись, а когда нас проводили в комнату, мы дали 100 рупий, носильщик посмотрел так, как-будто мы ему 1 рупию дали. Мы не нуждались в его услуге и не снимали деньги в принципе.

The stay was very pleasant. The rooms are clean and worth the money. The restaurant is good and serves buffet and ala-carte. The breakfast spread was nice and changed everyday. The staff is very cooperative and helps answer queries immediately. The food was very good and hygenic. Thanks Ambassador for making the trip memorable.

We were in a group tour and our first night in India was the Ambassador. Ok reception - late arrival - I guess the big let down was the mould on the ceilings - we were given a choice of rooms and it was a case of which room was less mouldy The reins were of a by gone era and would have need lovely. Breakfasts were great.

It was an excellent stay here. The hospitality, food, and hosts are superb and kind. I will always recommend to stay here. All from the hotel given very good sevices. Also the location is fantastic just front of Marine drive. Many thanks to Naresh ji and Team for their kind support.

Best hotel in the world,very nice furniture and room is very expensive,view also is the best in this hotel, bar and restaurant also there for singles ,best vacation hotel but price is very low for budget guys , everyone is there in this hotel rich person and normal person also tmstay in this hotel, i never saw this thye hotel in the world

We stayed here for two nights at the recommendation of a local friend. I had reserved and paid for an executive twin room, which is pictured on their website with a sofa, although it is not listed under "room features." It is supposed to be 335 sq ft. Because of the cancellation policy, the room was paid for before we arrived. Then we were given a queen size bed in a room that felt more like the delux room, at 290 sq ft. At least by looking at the schematic on the door, one could see that this room was the smallest one on the floor. The manager said they didn't have any twin bedrooms available and that I did indeed have an executive room. I don't think believe him, but the room was nicely furnished, if small. Since it was my daughter we just made the best of it. The marble bathroom was tiny but beautiful, the breakfast buffet was good and the wifi worked, so we were okay.

We were here as part of an Intrepid group tour. The hotel location was excellent, and apparently the hotel was “the place to stay” some 30 years ago but time has not been kind to it. On the plus side staff were all very pleasant, the included breakfast was solid, internet worked and there was a kettle and a mini fridge in the room. Nice amenities including shower cap and other toiletries were appreciated. On the minus side the hotel just feels tired. Paint was scuffed, corners and walls dusty, bathtub chipped . Towels a little thin and grey. One particularly annoying feature was a complicated analog type wired control box for room lights and AC control that never quite seemed to work and was less than intuitive. One day we came home at 4 to find the bed still unmade and the hot water only dribbled into the sink. I don’t know much about surrounding hotel choices but would not be in a hurry to return.

We stayed one night in The Ambassador hotel on our recent trip to India. The hotel itself, while old, has great character and the rooms have been maintained very well We got a very good last minute deal with Breakfast and our stay did not disappoint. Location was great for our requirements and the hotel staff were a pleasure to deal with. Everyone was friendly while not being intrusive and they each took time and interest in attending to our rowdy 3 year old son ☺️ Breakfast was Buffet style and had good choices including a live counter. On checkout we wanted to keep our luggage at the hotel as we had a day trip to Elaphanta Caves planned and this was no issue for the hotel Overall a very pleasant stay and somewhere I would stay again
