Hotel pemandangan pegunungan di Muscat

Disappointing week in a disappointing hotel. From the moment we landed in Oman, the intercontinental hotel was not helpful. When we asked for a taxi, they wouldn’t help us and we had to arrange ourselves. When we asked if we had a sea view, we were told “we had a partial sea view” which was actually a car park and a loud generator which rattled on all through the night. The generator was so loud we had to keep the balcony doors closed all the time. However, one night, even with the doors closed we were kept awake until 3am with loud bangs and clatters from hotel staff loading up vans with furniture after an event at the hotel. When we asked about booking the onsite restaurants, we were told they were all closed apart from the main one. Multiple times when we went to the main restaurant we were told it was too busy and we had to wait and come back later. When we did get into the restaurant, we often had to wait long times for food to be replaced or we given paper cups because they’d run out of glasses! When we tried to get the WiFi at the pool, there was none. When we tried to use the creams in the room, they’d run out. The staff were lovely and the food was nice but altogether, we didn’t feel looked after and definitely don’t feel this is a 5* hotel.

Awalnya saya memesan hotel transit di bandara, tetapi ketika tiba, saya diberitahu bahwa saya tidak bisa masuk tanpa boarding pass dan harus memesan ulang dengan membawa bagasi. Yang mengejutkan, kamarnya sangat bagus – bersih, luas, dan sangat dekat dengan bandara, hanya sekitar sepuluh menit berkendara. Sangat nyaman dan sesuai dengan harganya.

Hotel location was great in the middle of everywhere. Furniture was well maintained beds were comfy. Swimming pool was small but my kids enjoyed it. The only disadvantage was staff. We only sow the lady for check in honestly she was polite but no welcoming no one to help with baggage no one in the reception most of the time. House keeping was horrible they don’t change linens even it was dirty and torn. I had to call them to change it. The carpet was wet and they didn’t do anything even they don’t clean tables. Price was reasonable for the location only and having connected rooms was great for my children.

Location is good, but they problem with towels they don't provide enough towels or floor towel even when asked from room service they just brought one towel, and it was old please try to get some new towels.

Nice location in quiet residential area near beach. Hotel has limited parking on site. Public areas and rooms were clean. Receptionist tried to reduce to a single room from the double that I had booked. Pointed this out and was given a double ...... next to the lift, despite the hotel being practically. Poor soundproofing meant that I could hear every conversation in the corridor. Tried the pool which is on the second floor in the middle of the hotel. No towels available. I did ask a member of staff but none were forthcoming. Restaurant was empty and no bars were open as it was Eid. Service was polit and there was an extensive menu. Additional guidance on the menu explaining the dishes would have been helpful. Bar and restaurant downstairs also closed. Breakfast service staff were helpful and offered alternative options which were not laid out on buffet.

Kami menikmati masa inap yang luar biasa di hotel ini di Oman. Stafnya sangat membantu, penuh hormat, dan selalu siap membantu. Kebaikan mereka benar-benar membuat pengalaman kami istimewa dan tak terlupakan. Terima kasih khusus kepada resepsionis dan petugas porter yang menyambut kami saat kedatangan dan membantu membawa barang bawaan kami. Dia sangat membantu dan ramah, membuat kami merasa nyaman sejak saat pertama. Terima kasih kepada seluruh tim atas sambutan hangat dan tak terlupakan ini.
