For those with luggage, it's best to exit Gare de Centrale through the Place Bonaventure exit and cross the street to reach the hotel driveway. While going underground is an option, it involves numerous escalators and stairs, and the distance is longer than walking on the ground. **Metro Access:** Contrary to what some might assume, Metro Bonaventure is not right underneath the hotel. You need to walk about 300-500 meters underground to reach the metro station, so plan accordingly. **Room Tips:** If you want to minimize walking, request a room closer to the reception. The hotel is spread across two floors and covers a wide area. Our room was far from the reception, requiring a long walk after a tiring day. **Amenities:** The hotel's pool is popular and often crowded, but the fountain with ducks on the 10th floor adds a charming touch. However, no water is provided in the rooms or at the reception. We had to fill our water bottles at Gare de Centrale. **WiFi:** The WiFi connection was excellent and fast, making it easy to stay connected. Overall, Hotel Bonaventure Montreal offers a pleasant stay with convenient access to transportation and charming amenities, but be prepared for some walking and bring your own water supply.

We stayed at Hotel Monville and wanted to share my thoughts. The location is undeniably great, offering convenient access to historical places. However, I found that the hotel didn't quite live up to the expectations set by its photos. While the pictures showcased a sleek and modern interior, the reality fell a bit short. The overall ambiance and amenities didn't match the level of sophistication depicted in the promotional images. It's important for future guests to be aware that the visual representation may differ from the actual experience. Despite this, the location's convenience remains a strong point, and if that's a top priority for you, Hotel Monville might still be a suitable choice. Just be prepared for a slightly different atmosphere than what the photos may suggest.

My partner and I took a spontaneous trip and were looking essentially for somewhere to crash as we came and went. For the price, Travelodge does the job. I read complaints that the rooms were “too small” but for a couple, we found that we did not need more space than we got. It was not spacious by any means, but we weren’t cramped either. The location is great, Chinatown is right down the road (with great food and places to check out) and there is good nightlife within a 5-10 minute walk. For our demographic, this was a great place to stay. One thing that my partner minded (but I didn’t) was that the breakfast available was only cold, and mostly prepackaged. There were no scrambled eggs, protein, etc. and while it held me over for a few hours, my partner is more picky than I am. We ended up not utilizing our second (included) breakfast and went elsewhere. If you’re looking for a good budget hotel, this will likely not disappoint.

The room was OK. I asked the front desk for a high floor, and it was arranged promptly. It was very convenient in downtown, and I could walk to the French restaurant I booked. The parking fee was very expensive, more than $40 a night (tax included)! The swimming pool was quite comfortable, although not big, and the pillows were a bit low. After all, it was in the French district, so there were no Indian guys at the front desk, perfect! Otherwise, I would have to pay more attention to whether my credit card was double changed. Although I can choose other platforms to book hotels abroad, I still have to support Ctrip.

There is an attached restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, which provides a continental breakfast. It costs 11 knives per person (approximately). Then you can choose your own food with milk (cold), morning cereals, bagels, bacon, sausages, yogurt and fruit. You can also order your own breakfast. Good location, 5 minutes walk from Chinatown subway station, 8 minutes walk from Laogang. No extra bed available. There is generation parking service.

Not very fancy but it's cheap hotel. It would be hard to find a hotel in downtown Montreal at this level for the price.

Novotel Montreal Airport was a pleasant stay during a long weekend. One thing to note is that there was a car theft during our stay that happened to another guest, so guests should be careful of locking their cars at night.

Great price quality ratio, great location next yo the Palais des Congrès and Old Montreal/ Vieux Port, excellent mattress and pillows: deep sleep in a long time, spacious room, good continental type breakfast with croissants, pains au chocolat, bagels, cheese, hard nailed eggs.
