"The hotel is located outside the bus terminal of 3 Cruces, which is convenient. The room Igotwasquite small and therefore, the toilet was inconvenient to use due to lack of space. The service at the hotel was quite weird, they always had the main entrance of the hotel closed, so youhad to knock the gate every time you wanted to get in. To have your room cleaned you had togo toreception and requested cause nobody cleaned the room, only the ones where the guests checked out. I find the service of the hotel quite weird and for a chain like Wyndham quite bad."

"Run down hotel. Location is not very safe. We arrived by car and there was no one outside to greet us and tell us where to park to do our check in. There was a. Security person who showed up later but he was talking with someone else. Meanwhile some unsolicited  characters showed up. The concierge was on his break.  After I asked the people parked on the reserved space to please move, I was able to check in. This must have been a nice hotel but if feels old and stale. The towels in our room where very used and thin.  The bathroom downstairs is old and unkept.  Not worth staying"

"The hotel room is clean and tidy, but the sound insulation is not very good. I live in a room with a sunny side on the seventh floor. There is a pigeon nest outside the window. The pigeons are cooing all night long! The bathroom is relatively small and the service is pretty good. The restaurant on the first floor is large and has boiling water. The swimming pool on the rooftop is nice but too cold and not constant temperature. The view of the sea from the rooftop is nice."

We travel a lot and it’s hard to find good pillows , these are great , bed giant and very comfortable, even toilet paper quality is great . "Too expensive for the tiny room barely any walking space. During breakfast the lady at the counter kept staring at me to try to hurry me to leave, I had sat there for about an hour with my girlfriend just drinking coffee and chatting, she then proceeded to grab our things (keys, lighter etc) bring it to the reception and tell us we were there for too long, humiliating and unnecessary experience. Never coming back here."

"The accommodation was very convenient as it was right in front of the bus stop and less than 100 meters from a large department store, but the downside was that the facilities were old, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and most of all, the heater didn't work well even though it was midwinter. If you go for the cheap price, you won't regret it."

"The hostel was well located in the old city. It was very close to museums and shops. The building is old and beautiful. I stayed in a single and it was very spacious. I have only two complaints: the perfume on the cleaning supplies (on linens or otherwise) was overwhelming. The first night, I woke up and I could taste it. The other complaint is about the state of the carpet and couch. Both were pretty stained and not well-maintained.  The above said, it was a nice stay. The room was big, the staff were friendly, and it was very well located. I would recommend this to a traveler looking to save a little money."

"This is actually quite a nice hotel, despite some of the negative reviews, the room I stayed in on the 6th floor was recently refurbished, comfy bed, good shower and cleaned daily. Location is very good only a short walk to the main street. Found a wonderful restaurant on the same street, Paraguay. "Montevideo Al Sur" well worth a visit. While the staff at reception and the housekeeping staff are friendly. The ladies at the breakfast counter are the most sullen, unfriendly and unkempt, dirty uniforms, unprofessional bunch I ever cane across. Never a good morning or a please or thank you. Somebody should tell them that if there were no guests they would not have a job. Management should step up to the mark."
