We travel a lot and it’s hard to find good pillows , these are great , bed giant and very comfortable, even toilet paper quality is great . "Terrible experience. I had booked a room with a private bathroom for my daughter who was going to spend 30 days in the city studying. The hostel's structure is nice but the room was terrible: no ventilation, with mold on the walls, ceiling and closet. Very strong smell of mold. Completely unsanitary and different from the photos shown on *********** which was our reservation. The staff was attentive and refunded the amount paid."

"The bed is average, but the bedding keeps you warm. The air conditioning has the option of a heater, which is good in cold weather. Very warm shower and they provide shampoo and soap. Towels are replaced every day and the room is not noisy. The hotel itself is very nice and comfortable, despite being clearly old. The furniture in the room is a little lacking, as it is really old. For breakfast there was coffee, milk, medialuna and tea and despite being simple, the medialunas were SO wonderful, wow. The best I've ever eaten! Everything was as expected"

"The hotel is located right next to Plaza Independencia. Overall, the hotel is a bit dated; some outlets are loose, and some walls are a bit dirty. For some reason, the water in the indoor pool was around 40 degrees Celsius. You can't cool off in it, even though there's a sauna right there and after using it, you'd want to dip into a cooler pool."

"This is actually quite a nice hotel, despite some of the negative reviews, the room I stayed in on the 6th floor was recently refurbished, comfy bed, good shower and cleaned daily. Location is very good only a short walk to the main street. Found a wonderful restaurant on the same street, Paraguay. "Montevideo Al Sur" well worth a visit. While the staff at reception and the housekeeping staff are friendly. The ladies at the breakfast counter are the most sullen, unfriendly and unkempt, dirty uniforms, unprofessional bunch I ever cane across. Never a good morning or a please or thank you. Somebody should tell them that if there were no guests they would not have a job. Management should step up to the mark."

"A very nice hotel in a residential area near two beaches. There's a large shopping center nearby where you can exchange money at a favorable rate. There are also many restaurants. The hotel has a small pool and a rooftop veranda, and parrots live in the nearby trees. Grab a bottle of wine and relax! The photo shows the beach next to the hotel."

"This hotel located in a very convenient location for tourists, right on the Plaza Independencia in the city center, walking distance to all the sightseeing sites, facilities are quite good, breakfast was above average, however if you want to go out for dinner after hour, there're very few dining options around, most restaurants closed before 8pm, even though Montevideo is generally safe, that area behind the hotel was dark and gave eerie feeling."
